Personally, I don’t see why not. He has a long history of the same (couldn’t care less about the fans) attitude and has been getting away with it for years. Good on the club I say for telling it as it is…….it’s long overdue. He was a good rider back in the day but his attitude was always in question. These days he thinks he is a cut above the rest and can behave how he likes. He’d be as well sticking two fingers up to the people who support speedway and pay his wages.

There IS no defence of this behaviour in speedway and a rider who blatantly isn’t racing could be and should be penalised. There is still a rule, I believe. Who knows what can happen up front and this dilly-dallying (and pulling wheelies in Bachelor’s case) could cost points.

Don’t think anyone’s advocating a change of rule for this year. If it was decided not to include heat 15 riders in a new season rule then teams would be built with that in mind. Personally I think it should be scrapped.

The way I see it……if Kerr had been in a position to take avoiding action but didn’t….then he should have been rightly excluded. As it stood, there was absolutely no avoiding action he could have taken therefore Riss was the cause of the stoppage. Exactly as the Wright/Nicolas incident last year.

Personally, I don’t think most people want to knock Poole. They’ve proved themselves to be an excellent club over the years and generally the ones to beat. It’s some of the comments from their more arrogant supporters that rile people.

Yeah, and that’s half of the problem with speedway these days….too expensive for youngsters to get into. Everything’s got to be top notch from day one…..equipment and glamour wise. Gone are the days of picking up an old secondhand machine, strapping it to the back of a car and trying to get second half rides around the country. No mechanics, sponsors or fancy vans in them days and more people were able to have a go.

Pretty good looking team IMO if Kildeman can remain interested and stay focused. He was a favourite of mine in the past but can have his moments of unpredictability I think.

Predictions are all very well…..but let’s not forget this is Speedway…..so much can happen in a season to upset the apple cart. On paper so far for me….looks like it’s between Glasgow, Poole and Redcar but good luck to all teams and may the inevitable injuries be mild.

Cairns will almost certainly be at Poole….but these two “weak” reserves as you put it should improve greatly with the track time practice they will get at Glasgow. Ps. When do I get my prize for guessing this team way back in page fourteen of this thread?….lol
