  1. What’s the weather been like in Leicester today.
  2. 61.2 61.2 60.1 59.6 59.1 60.3 59.7 61.5 60.8 59.2 59.5 60.2 60.2 60.1 60.2
  3. Your in a small minority then because no one I have spoke to recently thinks like you. At the moment I cannot think of any Premier Team that doesn’t contain at least 4 riders that go really well at the EOES.
  4. Absolutely nothing the SCB can do about a riders absence if a medical certificate has been issued.
  5. Doesn’t matter what anyone says if a medical certificate has been issued, however many people know it’s complete bullshyte.
  6. I thought it was quite an entertaining match with some good racing thrown in at times, but it must be fairly clear to everyone that we are one or two riders away from a competitive team, we are just not winning enough races to win meetings. The track set up is the same for every meeting , generally slick and tyre packed, white line dominated for half the meeting until the dirt moves out a bit. Thats not my idea of a good race track, it’s clear from talking to others that’s not what the riders want either but it’s what they are getting and the large clay content is ruining tyres at an accelerated rate. Worrall I am told cannot get his set up right, he came with Lynn twice last year and did ok both times, the track has been the same for years, funny how Tarasenko had it Sussed after a quick practice.
  7. What’s the latest on Blodorn, is he ok or do BV have a replacement, Nothing on the BV website although that’s nothing new.
  8. Tim are you really that surprised bearing in mind the last year and a half and the managements efforts to make the team competitive, the most interesting thing (other than Tarasenko making his home debut) is how many will turn turn up to watch it bearing in mind it’s a TV match.
  9. I have absolutely no problem with budget speedway but teams need to be competitive, if he isn’t willing to run teams up to the required level in the Premier League then run them in the Championship where the costs are a lot lower Teams need to be at the very least competitive, that way you ensure good support and confidence levels ensuring everyone, riders, supporters and management remain positive. Getting stuffed everywhere just drives supporters away like it has at Lynn, tomorrows attendance will be interesting as it’s on TV so the usual travelling supporters will be able to watch it on Eurosport.
  10. Well up till last week attendances we’re holding up well at Peterborough, but the next home v Belle Vue will be a real tester as it’s on Eurosport. It could very well be two financial situations soon, but Panthers attendances will have to seriously drop to get to the dreadful level I have seen at Lynn 3 times this year.
  11. Well considering he does the Peterborough press releases I think it’s likely to be the latter.
  12. Happy to second that BSN is much better than Eurosport.
  13. Some of the racing was ok but the track clearly didn’t suit the home team at the start. The crowd was appalling, it’s not hard to see why Chapman is complaining about the team being over budget, the support is just not turning up. Going on what he said in his post match comments it doesn’t sound too good for Lynn let alone Peterborough and our crowds have been good - so far,
  14. What you mean like trying to interview both team captains whilst the bikes are being warmed up next door
  15. The application has been submitted but is awaiting validation by the council, once it’s validated it will appear on the city council website, this process could take many weeks.
  16. I’ve heard a rumour that Kings Lynn might get a mention anytime soon , bearing in mind it’s a Kings Lynn 2023 thread.
  17. Let’s be fair rules are very fluid within U.K. speedway, we regularly have five year plans that last one year and the speedway regulations change yearly so rules generally mean nothing. Also what the BSPL regularly state has often been proved to be totally unreliable and bears no relation to common sense at all.
  18. Solid team with a reserve who was flying at the start of the year, so much so that he ended up at No 1 and then got injured, the team was confident had an excellent team manager and always had an in form reserve.
  19. No problem with working to a budget but teams in whatever league the management choose need to be competitive, if you cannot afford to be competitive in the Premier league then run in the Championship. I seem to recall Chapman’s King Lynn team did rather well in the Championship past decades.
  20. Why don’t you ask your mate, he should know
  21. I smiled when a lot of people talked up Bellego before the season started, he is awful and looks so slow
