  1. Nigel Wagstaff didn’t buy the club when he ran the speedway at Kings Lynn for a couple of years.
  2. I agree, it’s not hard to do at last one good story a week, news this year has been dreadful. And people wonder why the sport is in the mess it is.
  3. Parts on a speedway bike can fail after continued use so a lot of riders rightly replace bits before they do ultimately do, as a breakdown whilst racing can cost them a lot of money, Hans does pass on a lot of his older gear to young up and coming riders, I dare say he hangs onto good engines whilst they are going well.
  4. Been telling you for months that Hans was in, and for the record Buster currently owns the Panthers.
  5. The rule book dictated the match wasn’t counted for the averages as it was passed the cut off for the play offs.
  6. He was an exceptional speedway rider, one of the very best and very capable of coming from the back if he didn’t make the gate.
  7. I certainly hope so, the bigger shock the better as far as I and many others are concerned.
  8. Thankfully it’s only the same three that take it as gospel.
  9. In 50 odd years of watching speedway racing have seen a lot of racing, racing incidents, crashes etc, some deliberate hard riding and some outright dangerous moves. The Ben Howe v Ronnie Pedersen incident was truly shocking, Howe quite deliberately rode Pedersen into the fence, it was utterly blatant with no regard for the safety of Pedersen and Howe made no attempt to race, his sole intention was just to put Pedersen in the fence. I have never seen anything like it since, at least with most other racing incidents and crashes I have witnessed the guilty party wants to win the race, this was different, the race was secondary Howe’s only objective was to ensure Pedersen hit the fence. He couldn’t have made it any clearer.
  10. I can, I saw it and still remember it clearly to this day, Howe was lucky he didn’t get his licence pulled, an absolutely disgraceful bit of riding notwithstanding the fact that it could have resulted in a serious or worse injury for Pedersen. I am not in no way excusing Pedersen taking off Doncaster in an earlier race but that was on a par with Doyle taking off Basso this year.
  11. That’s Floppy’s job on the Peterborough thread
  12. I think most Peterborough supporters agree with you, it’s been far too long winded this winter.
  13. Indeed, pinky and perky think you are wonderful.
  14. Well you certainly are, aided and egged on by pinky and perky.
  15. Correct, although it would be nice if the management named the team asap to stop all the drivel being posted on here
  16. You brought a ringer in for the play offs and it worked
