  1. I understand it's got to the point now that Leicester Speedway are paying the riders small amounts of money to cover their travelling expenses and then Hemsley is telling them to claim their points money from BSPA as he is no longer a Promotor and they hold his security bond put down at the start of the season.
  2. It will be interesting to see what team changes Poole make for the play offs as i heard Hans Andersons hand looked a bit of a mess which could be a broken hand so his season could be over.
  3. Not live on tv but will be highlights during the Sky broadcast this evening
  4. I don't think that this is with regards to riders getting a competitive advantage from taking a substance. This is more related to what they do in their social life in their time off with friends. Speedway riders are an easy target for recreational drug use often as they are young men with disposable income that like to look flash to their friends away from Speedway. It's the same with gambling I have heard first hand of riders doing a guest booking getting paid cash and gambling & drinking all the earnings away in one night after the meeting.
  5. SCB I have a feeling I know which rider you are on about as I have heard that he went a funny colour when he overheard an unknown individual in the pits say I am here to do some tests. Fortunately for him it turned out to be some noise tests for the council.
  6. The thing is some of substances that the riders would have likely been taking actually stay in your system for 6-8 weeks so still time to get caught
  7. The revolving door at Peterborough will be opening again over the weekend as they make the final push for the league title. I understand they are just awaiting confirmation from his parent club that they have no plans to use him in their side in 2016 and that BSPA will approve the move.
  8. Could a former panthers target that has just been dropped by an EL team fit in at the show ground ?

  10. The dates Skidder1 has posted are the dates that I have.been given but are conditional on the weather being good to us during September. Logistically I would like it if Wolves and Belle Vue can stage the first legs on 21st but doubt it will be that easy
  11. I really cannot understand why Poole did not accept the revised date for this fixture. As when the televised football fixtures came out it was already known that Anderson had qualified for the SEC and that Aussies U21 were in the team final. It would have made sense for both clubs to have an alternative date
  12. Depending on what happens in Poland with Wroclaw and the play offs I expect Tai to be back at Wolves in the next two weeks.
  13. Paddy H has a Polish fixture by the looks of it not sure which fixture was confirmed first
  14. All will be revealed in the next couple have been waiting on clubs to confirm stadium and rider availability
  15. Very disappointed this meeting was off especially as rushed back work from work in Scotland straight from Luton to Leicester get there at 7:20 track looked wet but could have been made race able but riders especially KL ones shown no interest in riding tonight very poor attitude from them. With regards to the refunds my understanding is tickets are valid for future meetings and then at individual clubs discretion whether to offer refunds i personally can't see why at 7:40 when cash still on site they could not offer this back. I do wonder if any customers who brought tickets with a credit or debit card could raise a dispute with their card issuer as I did this before for a concert that got cancelled on the night due to power problems I couldnt attend the restaging so card issuer refunded as services not delivered as promised.
  16. The next selection of Sky sports live matches will hopefully be available early next week maybe even later this week. I have the provisional plans of matches to be broadcast but are awaiting on clubs to confirm rider and stadium availability first as obviously there may be some fixture movement in the run in to the play offs. The main reason there is no match next week is the Speedway production team are also responsible for Sky's Darts coverage so they are all up in Blackpool for the World Match play hence the big advert during the Speedway coverage last night. July also happens to be the end of the budget year at Sky Sports as well and some can be rolled over if any left in the pot 🤓
  17. Joe1986- With regards to Speedway on Sky in 2017 as although there is a contract for next year it all depends on what the promotors finalise with regards to league structure and clubs taking part especially with uncertainties about a few EL clubs like Coventry,Leicester,Swindon and Lakeside
  18. I don't have BT 4K at home so it would be good if any fans that do have it could record a clip on their phone and then upload it onto You Tube for everybody to see. With regards to comms I understand that the 4K broadcast will use the world feed today as the cameras are side by side so at same angle and unlike football the focus point is close together
  19. Don't forget that the British Speedway is available is in brilliant 4K on BT Sport I will be interested to hear what viewers think to it even though it's on the opposition channel.
  20. Leicester do a post meeting conference in front of the main stand every week with Norrie and a Leicester rider if a loss and normally the whole team if a win. They did used to get the opposing manager or rider but some wont do it I think this year Jon Cook and Rob Lyons are the only ones who have agreed to it.
  21. He just does not seem to think before making decisions, He was already going to have a poor crowd due to the football but he is now making it impossible due to work for some fans who were going to go to make it and would imagine this will be the same for some of his staff as well. Leicester traffic at night is chaos through the centre and around the ring roads so it's ok for the few that work on North side of the city but anybody it's a bit of a nightmare. Any Coventry fans braving this I suggest avoiding coming M69 and M1 and come the old Fosse Way route or come off at Hinckley go along the country lanes. They have also made it clear that it will be a rushed through meeting to get it done as quick as possible so making it worse value for money if they get it done in just over an hour will make it about 30p per minute
  22. I fear that this will make the crowd even worse with the earlier start time as people may now struggle to get there in time from work with the rush hour traffic. I would imagine that most Coventry fans will not bother now as too early for them
  23. I see Mikkel Mikkelson has posted that he is at the hospital with Max Fricke hopefully nothing to serious as he is having an amazing season.
  24. I am sure that common sense will prevail if new promotors not affiliated with the Hemsley family come forward then the fine will be waived to enable the club to operate in the future.
  25. Hopefully the SCB will change their stance of not allowing a new promotion to take over the club until fines and costs are paid as that is not something that they are responsible for and will only achieve in the club remaining closed. I can understand that they will not allow Yulia to take over and in my opinion that is a good idea as she is not very speedway oriented at all and is embarrassing in the pits with riders
