Rockets have Robert Lambert as guest in place of Edward Kennett who races for Lakeside AWAY at Leicester. I was under the assumption that he'd only miss away meeting when Lakeside were at home. I don't think this is a rearranged fixture, so the question is... why?
Was a brilliant week. The slaughter of Newport on Sunday, Exeter on the Monday and watching Berwick lose at Sheffield on Speedway Updates on the Thursday, then clinching the league title at Rye against Somerset on the Saturday. Happy days
The only regret I have is Dick Barrie wasn't in attendance. After years of being the victim I'd have taken great pleasure in ripping the pi$$ out of him. Ahh well, there's always the league meeting in September.
Sampled the Mildenhall fish & chips a couple of weeks ago and they we're superb
I'll hopefully be in Berwick with the Rockets. Shame, I haven't been to Kings Lynn for about seven years
There's no doubt, apart from the sugar daddy teams, the PL is in big trouble. Something has to be done to cut costs, cos I can't see a significant increase in people coming through the gate anytime soon.
Looking at the forecast it was no surprise it was called off. We were just leaving Berwick to head south when we heard the news, so at least we're home at a decent time and not the expected 3am
