It was their final league match and penultimate meeting before they sadly demolished the County Ground stadium. We were on the Western Tour in September, towards the end of the campaign and I was texting to the Speedway Updates site. We'd always been pathetic there, but this time we absolutely murdered em! Crowds are definitely on the wane at most tracks. Glasgow are probably the exception due to the massive influx of new money, but even that will probably tail off. Your away fan comments are spot on. I've drastically cut down on away trips, mainly due to the costs involved. Rye used to have a Northern tour to Edinburgh/Berwick/Glasgow every year, but that's no longer running. You could guarantee 50+ Rockets fans at Berwick, but I doubt they'll be more than half a dozen there on Saturday

How do attendances stack up to say 10 years ago? I first visited Berwick in 2005, when crowds were regularly approaching the 800 mark
