  1. Even without Thompson & the hardly equal guest replacements, Poole will find it very tough. Our best bet is the weather to intervene but even then, it will be difficult.
  2. Great news, so fingers crossed for a speedy return. Question now is Starke or Ritchings is to be released. On Wednesday result I would imagine Ritchings but next few matches will be telling. At the moment we look like a play off side but not champions. Tonight's match beggars belief-Mulford for Zach and Barker for Boughen!!! Even without the flying Thomson I think we will struggle, Richard and Anders can't win the match for us!
  3. Not really. when they met Starke had the gate advantage
  4. after tonight is Starke safe or will Ricchings be retained? Next weeks meeting should be good-Cairns, Rushen, Vinnie Ford & Ritchings + more exciting riders. Looking forward to it
  5. Agreed. Track is a disgrace Hardly an overtake. Gate 4 a grave. Kerr & Starke disappoint again
  6. Agree with Lewy. Rode well for Poole to start but went off form very quickly, admittedly when moved to 2. Leicester weren't happy with something and released him very quickly
  7. Agreed 100%. We were very lucky. Injury to Polis and Edinburgh efs when on 5-1's handed us the match. we are a 2 rider team plus probably Tobias at the moment. We need to improve and Cairns is not the complete answer. Is the captaincy affecting Zack, perhaps offer it to Richard, if he wants it?
  8. Music last night was terrible and much too loud. Poor gating and inconsistent performances by Poole. Better team won. Its early days yet but Kerr and Starke disappoint but what are the alternatives? Marson completely out of his depth but who is able to replace him?
  9. Kurtz & Brennan to strengthen Poole v Sheffield in KO Cup?Thoughts
  10. I see Clouting has signed foe Eagles, would he be 2 pointer in Championship-he rode in Juniors at Poole
  11. At the end of the day speedway is a business not a charity.
  12. Read Trigger's average wrong Clive but Baek's was 2.62 or didnt't he ride enough meeting to obtain revised average.I don't dislike Starkey but just hope better bikes
  13. No doubt we will know soon. Baek is a rider that hasn't been mentioned yet and maybe Plymouth will retain. Depends on travelling expenses and Danish commitments on a Wednesday. Ben Trigger may be the answer
  14. Difficult call for 7th rider, ? Patrick Baek, Ben Trigger or Max James. Any other suggestions?
  15. Who is Kilderman replacing as a 1-7 had previously been listed!!!
  16. Agreed , 5 heat leaders and 2 strong reseves
  17. Ipswich look nailed on, injuries avoided. Probably favourites when bookmakers open book. I shall be on!!!
  18. Jason Edwards now guesting for Heeps who is on paternity leave.m What a joke, 5 guests!!!
  19. Unfortunately, Wednesday's meeting will be a non event but hope Killeen can ride and if Scott isn't fit then a good guest to try and make a match of it but I think its unlikely. Wishing Scott a speedy recovery.
  20. With rain from last night and heavy rain forecast this evening, tonight's meeting was not going to take place. Why do people question Poole's decision to postpone the meeting? I don't think Shroek will call off tomorrow unless the weather intervenes, as next week Killeen should be fit.
