  1. I think that Middlo has had a decent enough run as TM now, I know that whoever comes next cannot wave a magic wand but I do think someone else should take charge. My short list would be, in no particular order: Rosco, Eric Boocock, Shazzy.
  2. Live updates are here: http://207.218.233.253/ekstraliga.htm
  3. Mateusz, what are Zielona Gora like on their own track? Torun seem to have a very strong team. Could they give them a good scrap?
  4. You're such a clever clogs Iris, and your post about the feeding of the 5,000 yesterday was hilarious!
  5. Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Now is the hour, and Rosco is the man. You know it makes sense.
  6. It's obvious to me that the final, when held in the UK, should be at Lakeside. After all, can you imagine that this team would lose to anyone: 1) Loram 2) Hurry 3) Lanham 4) Louis 5) Stead. I rest my case.
  7. Wow, either way it's something to brag about!
  8. At last you see the light! Time to change my signature now!
  9. When he said he was staying out of it he was obviously referring to the first bend action which he did keep clear of! And when it was quite clear that the meeting was decided, he then got involved with a tussle for a meaningless third place which did not affect the outcome whatsoever.
  10. Quote SCB. (Not for the first time! LOL!) Balls did he!! He was chasing and trying to pass Hans! SCB, I really have to wonder what planet you are on sometimes. Adams most definitely said that he was going to keep out of the way in that race, and indeed he did. The fact was the meeting was decided when he and Andersen were going hammer and tongs for third place, and it made no difference to the outcome whatsoever.
  11. If you seriously think that David Howe is the way forward for British speedway, then you need urgent help.
  12. Poland did what just about any other team would in the same situation would do. The rule is just plain dumb and maybe this will help to change it for next year. It was a fantastic meeting, one of the best ever televised. 25 heats and it went down to the last one! Amazing. And as for the comments about Andersen, well, he had just lost the world cup for his country, what did you expect him do turn somersaults?
  13. If Jesus Christ had been our TM tonight we would still not have won!
  14. Poland got off to an an atrocious start, but only lost by a point. No doubt they regret not using the joker when they had the chance. I think they will get off to a better start on saturday tonight. it's wide open now though.
  15. Actually, the Danes can ride a grippy track, but the problem they have is that most of the other riders can too! That's why they prefer a gate and go track. Olsen MUST be kept well away!
  16. Team GB will rock the speedway world tomorrow night when they become the champions. Adams will choke on his words, Hone the moan will emigrate.....and Middlo will get an MBE.
  17. It was a great meeting, plenty of passes and a last heat decider. If 21st thought it was boring, then he should follow another sport because it rarely gets better than this!
  18. Olsen is always whinging. Slick tracks and the Danes have become a standing joke in speedway for decades. Just keep the fool away from the track, why should he spoil a potentially great meeting?
  19. After watching the meeting tonight, I think the final will be a lottery. I've no idea who will win.
  20. Best of luck with it. I took Poland at a juicy 5.0 before it started. If Poland win easily tonight the time could be ripe to visit betfair.
  21. I think we will see a different Australia than we saw at that dreadful Vojens meeting. Sullivan is going well in the Polish league by all accounts and Crump and Adams will be more effective. The other two are a bit iffy though, and to think that they have the in form Davey at reserve. Crazy. This should be a good meeting, the Russians will enjoy this track, As for Sweden it will depend on Jonsson because without him I cannot see them qualifying. I'll go for Australia and Poland.
  22. I don't think you will be able to get that bet on. I wanted to double up team GB with Denmark, no chance of that either, at least not with the bookies I tried.
