Its been a pleasure to watch Mark ride for the Hornets. He is a thinking rider who you can see pick his lines, weighing up opposition riders before making passes. I look forward to seeing him again next year, its just a shame he would be saddled with a 5 point average in the PL.

You cannot blame Mark Jones for the Mildenhall promoter acting like an arsehole. Fact of the matter is Mark Jones, Tim Webster and Luke Priest all had places at the start of the season, a team of British riders were put out of work by a British promoter and the current merrygoround ensued.

Tim Webster and Danny Halsey are not without team spots because of riders like Mark Jones, they are without team spots because Mildenhall folded.

Hornet 44-46 Hitmen Well done to the Hitmen, probably the most complete NL outfit I have seen. Hornets let down by falls while in points scoring positions, but I guess you can't win them all.

Pro Tip: European Beers > Australian Beers. Fact. Perhaps we should start a thread in GD about the merits of both!

Should be a good match against a Buxton side that look to have quality right through their side. All the Hornets will have to be on top form in this one.

Heat 13 was a farce. Called back because Hughes made a roller, but then allowed to continue the second time despite him even more obviously jumping the start (along with Allott).

This should have been fairly comfortable for the Hornets, but Tim, Tom and James didn't seem to have a bike between them capable of completing 4 laps! James was the only one, and then in only his last ride, to beat an opponent who finished the race! Hope the boys have better luck mechanically next time. Fortunately Tony was superb, Mark wasn't far behind and Todd was solid all night.

The information coming out of the club of late has been nothing short of dreadful.
