  1. Dont know what youve got till its gone...........
  2. Workington fixtures out 10:00 am tommorow.
  3. Lost for words, hope the Testimonial goes well. Best wishes to Ricky and his dad.
  4. Kenneth Hansen rode for Workington about five years ago (i think) not sure how many away tracks he visited though.
  5. Good luck Richard, hope it goes well at Glasgow.
  6. Good feature on Tony Mole this week, good to read next weeks part on the resurection of Workington, Tony Mole always says it like it is no punches pulled ......
  7. All joking aside i think we have a decent side for next season, SCB likes to have a dig and although he knows the rule book may well be wide of the mark with his remarks.......we will see! Hansen could be a dark horse but if he does blow hot and cold we have strength in depth to cover for him and we have strong reserves in Mason Campton and Nicki Barrett......top six side nae bother.....still a few sides to be completed yet though. We are Blue.....
  8. There will still be some seats reserved for travel companies i expect.
  9. Fixerman .....whoever you are...if we finish in the top six, i will buy you one Guiness.
  10. Team looking good, even with a decent 7pt rider though mid table.......team
  11. Vissing and Wells sounds good to me.
  12. Josh G not returning next year (from the official site) next signing to be announced tonight at 8.00pm.
  13. Some real doom and gloom merchants on here, only three riders named and its the end of the world...lighten up! Probably have Ricky Wells back on his average but this could squeeze Kyle out? Hopefully have Simon Lambert back next season too.
  14. Workingtons next signing to be announced at 8pm tonight
  15. Numbers , numbers....could be a Dane for a Dane, cannot see Cook coming back and personally would not like him back.
  16. For those about to text we salute you.... Well done Sue and the team!!
  17. Seems like just another year of small changes instead of the overhaul of the sport............ Another thing i forgot to mention in my last post , message to promoters everywhere "If you are not 100% sure the meeting will start do not let fans through the turnstiles and then call the meeting off" Fans loose trust in the promotion and some never return!!
  18. BSPA: This is what i would like..... A shorter season, April to September. Meetings that are slick (not track) ie kept going not dragged out! Continuity of meetings, not long breaks between home meetings. No TR rule. Try to have a team not filled with guests due to double uppers/downers etc. Keep things simple ...... even Team managers do not know some of the silly rules.
  19. An item on Facebook says it will be January before Ward knows his fate.
  20. Fine....ill do it, final home meet of the season, decided to come back to Worky after al!! Comets v Bandits we try again, hopefully track is as good as against Edinburgh last week....and the result.
  21. Hardly baltic , probably the warmest its been for weeks, still feeling bitter , oh well good luck in the final.
  22. Why would it be a travesty if Edinburgh didnt win the title, the rules were known at the start of the season, ok if the rules were changed in July say about the League championship then it would be farcial...
  23. Struth Monarchs fans can you not just accept defeat, ok your team was missing Worral and Sneddon, Worky had Grazjonek and Bach missing, your team may well go on and win the League but give it a rest with the untouchables.
