Aspergren went really well tonight, some good racing as well on a dry track that needed some watering, all the Comets side went well too and said they would like to be back next year, then again riders do not like it at Worky.

Plenty of riders would have liked to have ridden for Keith Denham but could not be fitted in or could not be accomadated for various reasons in the past few years.

Not ideal for me but ill be there.

First thing, glad we are back in 2013. Well done Newcastle on the aggregate win at least Worky went out of a comp on the track, the Comets were so close to going on to a final. Got to say the race between Roynon and Robson in ht 15 was superb, one of the best races seen at DP, well done to both riders.

Sign of the times unfortunatley, other teams such as berwick and Workington struggling too.

As i said nothing to do with the two teams involved in the final, just the way the end of season has finished, the weather and too many comps crammed in to the last month of the season. What happens if Worky beat Newcastle today in the semi and only one weekend left to fulfil the fixture, oh and a PL match against Berwick......

No offence to Somerset or Scunthorpe but it just a farce now.

Got to agree with you there Screm. Will support any Brit in the GP,S but overall its about seeing the Worlds best riders competing for the GP title not putting in a British rider to satisfy who, SCB/BSPA, the British public, BSI/IMG?

No real surprises for the wildcards, ill be giving my support to Tai next year at Cardiff.

Oh i see the future of Edinburgh.....

? Two weeks time but we are due to be at Edinburgh this comig Friday.

Hopefully Richard and Rene will be back on Friday, cannot see Worky getting any points at Edinburgh but we might just get an aggergate win against Newcastle if all the lads are fighting fit.

Bad year all round injuries , rain offs, threat of closure hanging over Workington Speedway.......still have had some exciting racing at Derwent Park in 2012 on a decent track....oh and some great riders. We have won the Pairs and are still technically in two competitions, so hopeffully we can still grab a trophy. Speedway in 2013 at Workington....i certainly hope so.

Well done to Monarchs for keeping it close at DP, cannot see the Comets getting any points at Edinburgh next Friday but stranger things have happened.............and hopefully its not rain affected. Scunny and Somerset in the final then.

Cookie is a talented rider but to park the bike after the heat in question was just silly , yes the crowd got on his back and he did get revenge in heat 15 , still got the crowd going.
