TEAM AMERICA v Rest Of World; 4th February 2023

Some decent racing in the main event but would have helped with helmet colours and being a bit more professional and not as drawn out.I suppose thats the way of North American Speedway not as professional as in Europe. The young chap called Cairns looks a very good prospect for the future . -

Not many teams in the League, spare dates for rain offs, KOC, Challenge meeting if needed.

I still have my Oxford Silver machine poster signed by Greg Hancock on the wall in the office.

Agree with much has been said, social media and van and bike display pre season, rider competitions and raffles to win kit such as team shirts , race jackets, make sponsorship simple even small amounts to help club/riders to be part of the whole team ethic.
 -
Not that bothered to be honest, just looking forward to watching good competitive racing and the riders enjoying and improving their racing.

I have no idea of Adam Roynons personal business dealings , thank you for your reply. Just for the record I do not support Poole , I was only wishing him well for the coming season.
 -
Good to see Adam has a team place, all the best for the season Royno.

In the Star this week piece on Graham Drury doing a talk and question and answer session in aid of Birmingham Speedway supporters club, it also mentions the court case.
 -
Just checked , yes its the same Andy Reid I remember , Worky 1977 (a year before my time) and Glasgow among others.
 -
Only started reading the book that covers Peters early life and he certainly packed a lot into his childhood and youth, also how close he was with other guys from an early age who would go on to race Speedway, Chris and Dave Morton, Dave Trownson, Andy Reid (or am I mixing up with another Andy Reid) and later Graham Drury.

Will a band play Radetzky March...will there be ice cold lagers on hot days ....keep calm chaps it’s early days , Rome wasn’t built in a day but that colosseum would have made a nice stadium.

Only thing is it’s a quite Journey up to Cumbria and to even pay for expenses would be too much I would have thought at this stage of the project.
