I always seem to be writing negative comments on the forum ........which is not good for anyone, there are good clubs out there.
I do attend Belle vue and Glasgow occasionally and on the whole are a good experience ( Glasgow v Leicester debacle ), plus the GP series is very good, so there is light at the end of the tunnel if we could just turn this oil tanker around in time.
Indeed Mike attended the meetings in question at Worky, all crammed in at the end of October, the last one a double header iced off, the club was on the slippery slope to the end but this did not help matters.
Agree about fixture congestion going into October but running in November no way , it’s bad enough in October standing around in the cold and rain.
Next season needs to run between April and September .
Card last time I was there , seemed to run out pretty quickly of any cans they had and limited selection of draft beers, oh and staff usually can’t handle big crowds
Good news but will need radical changes for next year regarding costs for riders etc , so will anything change at this years AGM,
With the crowd numbers Newcastle are averaging this season the added input of another promoter will only go so far…
Sorry to sound negative but just being realistic
Best wishes to the club for next season
Agree have sympathy with the travelling Leicester fans, i looked at the forecast on Saturday and all was good indeed it improved on Sunday morning (apart from that foreseen shower at about 3:30pm).
So i booked trains and hotel.....
