Paying £££ for 3 nights in a Cardiff hotel in the city centre but it’s my choice , then two nights in Glasgow for the GP challenge the weekend after.

Not feeling ripped off with ticket prices at Cardiff particularly but maybe hotel prices but I only go every two or three years .

Similar success with team GB speedway team though, it’s the grass roots and leagues like the women’s game that needs constant improvement

Broken collar bone and shoulder (dislocated) injury for Masters, hip , hand and thumb injury for Cook. Dislocated finger for Fredriksen.

He was only on a one month visa initially , then were hoping to quickly get the next visa sorted .

It’s easy to be a manager ...in hindsight it may have been a good idea to give Flint a ride early on ( I thought he deserved a ride at least to try him out) but they win as a team or lose as a team. Well done to all the riders involved , some exciting prospects for the future ( GB were the only ones to lower Gusts colours in the main meeting?) Best wishes to all the injured riders, some nasty crashes last night.

Re Workington comeback in 1999 the crowds flocked back when speedway returned , with attendances of around 2000 , then dropped alarmingly to less than 500 I think when it closed in 2018.
