  1. Got lucky with the weather in the end, there was a dirty great black cloud bearing down on the stadium but it just missed us. Meeting was Ebdoned through to heat 17 when it was all decided.
  2. No point in giving out warnings of you're not going to enforce them... who's the ref, do we know?
  3. Janowski should have been thrown out of that, was on a warning and moved again
  4. Like Ukraine? Maybe they should just walk into the pits and push them out of their pit bays.
  5. A need for hiring a bloody great temporary stand?
  6. No danger... I've almost single handedly paid for it all!!!
  7. Would halving the prices have doubled the crowd?
  8. Crowd on a par with a Eurosport league meeting against Birmingham or King'sLynn, on a damp night... better than Wroclaw last year though Track looks on the grippy side
  9. No surprise there, there's now forecast to be a weather window until big rain is due to hit at around 21:30 to 22:00, let's hope there's no faffing about!
  10. Look on the bright side... If there is one track in the UK that can take the rain and then produce a raceable track afterwards it's the NSS.
  11. Any rain is forecast to clear around 3, I would imagine practice would be canceled and the track will be very, very, very, very grippy tonight, which doesn't make for great Speedway around the NSS, may throw a surprise though?
  12. A nice cheap pay day for Tolley, which I'm sure has absolutely nothing to do with it being called off.
  13. It was barely any rain, the track just needed a grade, the riders were out for heat 10 but Birmingham pulled the plug, Oxford were ready to carry on.
  14. Birmingham seemed a bit too eager to call that one off! I wonder why?
  15. It just goes from bad to worse for Brummies... no doubt the excuses will be coming thick and fast from Tolley but to be at heat 10 having not used your tac sub when it's in danger of being called off is ridiculous.
  16. Will he be parading his World Championship trophies to the Brummies faithful at the interval?
  17. https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/peterborough-united/broadcasting-legend-known-for-peterborough-united-and-speedway-coverage-passes-away-4693737 Promoters come and promoters go, riders come and go, but the one constant during my time of attending Peterborough and King's Lynn was Edwin Overland. Although he had to stand down latterly, did he not come back to announce the final race at Peterborough? Always used to build the tension when reading out the race result of a close finish while everybody around me had their pens hovering above their programme's
  18. Some easy beer money? No pressure, come back for a few meetings for a team that has no chance of making the play offs while concentrating on claiming a top 6 spot in the GP's and earning some serious coin in Poland? I honestly don't know, did he ever give his reasons for returning for 6 matches?
  19. You'll be pleased to know that your Number 1 has made a miraculous recovery from his mystery undisclosed injuries in Poland today, it's amazing what a zloty can do to perk you up!
  20. Wrong!!! 2018 30th 2019 15th Left King's Lynn 2021 10th 2022 5th 2023 6th
  21. Not angry at all, I actually find it all quite amusing... reading all these silly names being mentioned in relation to King's Lynn on a "serious team predictions" topic. MPT will come back and you'll possibly get Zach Cook and/or Connor Mountain for somebody imo. The days of Buster marching up and down the pits at the SoN waving his cheque book around are long gone!
  22. Yes, thanks for that, I agree with you. It was more of a question than a statement. It's still a long time ago though. 2023 bottom 2022 bottom but one 2021 bottom 2019 bottom but one 2018 top, lost to Poole 2017 bottom but one 2016 bottom but two 2015 5th out of 8 2014 2nd, out in the semis 2013 5th out of 10 2012 7th out of 10 2011 3rd out of 10 With the exception of 2018, Lynn have been pretty crap since 2016 and pretty much a laughing stock in more recent times with all of the call offs etc
  23. Birmingham are as big a joke as you lot are. Lambert has only become truly world class since he left the psychodrama that is King's Lynn speedway behind.
