Yeah, let's give him the benefit of the doubt, he is only a kid after all... He'll do well to learn though that even if he's not doing too badly you can still easily be replaced in British Speedway if the team ain't performing because of the way averages work

King’s Lynn Stars v Leicester Lions - Thursday 9th May

Like he "dealt with" the Belle Vue heat leaders and 2nd strings? He could only beat Bailey and Blodorn! All the better to run the meeting then with a decent guest as opposed to him scoring 2 points again and he'll be back in the main body... do you understand that? Not to mention the small matter of following the regulations regarding meeting postponements! Which everybody seems to be forgetting -

Even with any of the guests at reserve mentioned above, they should still make light work of Kemp and Hagon around Lynn... let's not forget Woj only scored 2 points against Belle Vue -

So he should be riding in the main body of the team at home? It doesn't really work like that either. The sport is run on "averages" -

Take out the foreign players from football and there's hundreds ready to take their place, can you say the same about speedway? And isn't Haarland a league 2 player anyway For me our "youth system" just isn't producing enough riders for the few teams we have left and is probably part of the reason while there are so few clubs left -

If Woj was that good he wouldn't be riding at reserve! -

While it's great to hear rider interviews etc. I do think some of them are a little too honest and maybe they should engage their brain before talking, in the last week alone I've heard: Max James saying he doesn't really care how many points the team scores as long as he's had a good night Nicolai Klindt say he can't work out how to set a bike up to run in the cold weather and neither can Steve Worrall Jason Edwards say that sometimes you've got to "play the system" with guesting. Indicating that if you don't raise your average for "your" team then you can get more guest bookings and fill your boots in those meetings! Sometimes ignorance is bliss

We get that at Leicester when the track is perfect! No excuse to abandon a meeting -

Seriously though, there are far many more football clubs, Football doesn't rely on doubling up to keep their domestic leagues running and also doesn't "rely" on foreign talent -
Poole legend Malcolm Simmons? Poole legend Michael Lee? Both done time

2 out of 67 ain't bad! That's very nearly a 3% success rate -
Personally, I think he deserves a 2nd chance, if he blows it then that's down to him

There was a certain other southern based Australian rider who you more than welcomed back on a number of occasions

So, if Buster says he wants to run 3 riders in a race with a team over the points limit... the authorities cave in? The point here for me is that it's clearly in the rules, he's just picked the wrong excuse! If you sign up for the rules you should abide by them -

According to the regulations there is no such thing as an under strength team anymore. -

To be fair thinking about it he shouldn't really even be involved, it's a clear beach of the SCB's regulations, so it will be Neil Vatcher's and the sports regulators biggest test. -
