  1. Good effort from Mikkel Andersen... and is it Parnitskyi as it says on the captions or Parnitskiy as it says on the back of his race jacket?
  2. If thems the rules, then they should be out, that's why we have cut off dates... now show me the rules that say they just make the pay off fixtures up as they see fit. You don't seem to understand the concept of a rule book in professional sports.
  3. Would be funny if it weren't true! There's a lot of stuff I can put up with as far as Speedway is concerned, guests and all that but when you start to get into fixture rigging at the end of a 5 month season, I personally draw a line there.
  4. The SCB issued a press release: https://www.scbgb.co.uk/news.php?extend.200 So I assume that the completion/ cut off dates must have been set in the rules as the SCB needed to agree to extend the completion date and ignore the cut off date altogether. Do the rules make provision for the making up of pay off fixtures You're right though, this is a side issue and the SCB just agreed to the rigging of the fixtures because all the clubs agreed between themselves! You couldn't make it up!
  5. I thought the league season date was extended by 7 days to get the 2 Lions v Lynn matches in even though they counted for nothing.
  6. Okay, if you're going to start to get abusive I'm not going to engage with your on this topic anymore, I hope you enjoy the pay offs, they're not for me this season.
  7. You know all that time you took off work, all that traveling, all those traffic jams, all those motorway closure detours on the way home, all the money you spent on travel, accommodation, food, stadium admission, programmes, following your team up and down the country since your team had secured a top 4 spot (July in Ippo's case?) because you knew that in the rules at the start of the season it said that 1st played 4th and 2nd played 3rd in the PAY OFFS. Guess what? All completely pointless! Why change it? The cut off was 31/8, you call the 1,2,3 & 4 on that date, not start making your own up.
  8. Stewart Dickson was saying last night that Douglas has an infected sprained wrist. I think he's been struggling with it for some time.
  9. The thing is Emil going for it like he did makes Emil what he is and why he puts bums on seats. It wouldn't have effected the pay offs they were always going to be what they were... rigged! They've stopped giving out 28 day bans for missing matches, apparently. Just catching a snippet of what Chris Louis was saying about Freddie Lindgren on the podcast, didn't he mention something about him only being contracted to ride over here until the end of August or something so that's why the Polish clubs are clamping down on rider usage.
  10. Well, this morning I've had an email back from David Lowe, Leicester Fans Rep, and also an email from Nikki Jameison, Office Manager at BSPL Towers, saying she'll forward my email on to the Premiership CEO! I'm going for a lie down 🤯 ... I have just received a reply from Belle Vue, it's a copy and pasted copy of the BSPL email from Nikki Jameison!
  11. That's great, I hope you enjoy it, because eventually you'll be on your own watching Sheffield vs Belle Vue every week 🐯♠️
  12. 2021 wasn't ideal, but that year was very much Covid effected and as you said the top 2 teams had choice. This is very different, the rules that were in place all season have been abandoned and the semi final fixtures rigged, they could have done 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd at the cut off date, if you can't see this I despair and you'll get the sports entertainment you deserve.
  13. Thanks both, I don't buy a programme so was not aware of this, I've just sent an email off 👍
  14. I find the apathy, from many, to the rigging of the pay offs absolutely astounding! As I've said elsewhere I find this the worst decision this so called sport has made in living memory, and there have been a few! For me it cuts to the heart of whether Speedway is a sport or sports entertainment. EVERY Speedway supporter should be contacting their lesser spotted Fan's Voice Representative and club to voice their disgust on what has happened, whether it be a detailed email or a "this just ain't on" type of email, because believe me this will be the thin end of the wedge, if they can do this, they'll do anything! If enough of us message them threatening to boycott the pay off semis (which I will be doing), hopefully they will get the message. Here are the contacts you need to be messaging: BSPL: office@britishspeedway.co.uk Belle Vue: info@bellevue-speedway.com Ipswich: enquiries@ipswichwitches.co Leicester: info@leicesterspeedway.com Leicester Fans' Voice Representative: LionsFansVoice@gmail.com Sheffield: office@sheffield-speedway.com Direct Message Phil Morris on Twitter/X Of course you will receive no reply, but if enough of us voice our disapproval/disgust they will hear it.
  15. We had a right old wobble last night against Lynn! Douglas, Cook & Hagon all carrying injuries and yes the pay offs do usually provide a step up in racing, but... I just can't buy into it anymore, what they have done with the rigging of the pay off spots, for me, is the single worst decision that has been made in the so called sport (and there's been a few), it cuts right to the heart of what Speedway is, is it a sport or is it sports entertainment? For me the rigging of the pay offs says to me that it's the latter and I'm sorry, I just ain't interested in that.
  16. Wow! Okay, do you have his contact details by any chance?
  17. As he's the only one that has commented on it and we'll never find out the true goings on I'm afraid he's going to have to take the blame. If he had anything about him this would have been a resigning matter and as he hasn't, he's proved himself to be as corrupt as the rest of them.
  18. He's at least complicit in it. Shows me he's got no scruples, he's gone way way down in my estimation. There's no way I would have gone along with this, it's a matter of principles
  19. That's me probably done for the season, I'm sorry I just can't buy into the pay offs anymore, I'll maybe go to the finals if we reach them otherwise I'm done!
  20. I accept! Now when are these imaginary zoom call meetings that were promised by Mr Morris
  21. Well, Bomber wasn't looking where he was going in heat 1! Dougy first bend incident, Lambert dropped it in an instant to miss Lawson who had fallen, Cook seemed to fall on his own and Becker nearly lost it on turn 4 in his first outing, track is super slick
