  1. 2 points around Sheffield, hardly a "trick track" only beating Jake Mulford is just not acceptable for somebody in his 8th season of racing
  2. Fricke's place must surely be under question 5.71 away average is just not acceptable for a No 1 of his age and experience and it'll be even less than that after last nights performance
  3. Don't criticise Cook! I'm heading for the bunker!
  4. If I were to lose anyone it'd be Masters for me, I was never convinced with his signing from the start. Although Becker hasn't been brilliant I do feel his career path is generally on the way up while Masters is going the other way. I assume Becker's average has dropped? Which may give a little more leeway?
  5. I do think Howarth can try too hard on occasions, he was clearly overriding a couple of seasons back in the grand final that you lost, maybe less is more with him?
  6. Refreshing to see an injured rider turn up to support his team... a move a lot of other riders could learn from Picko is hugely impressive as a "team" man and often comes across as he cares a hell of a lot more than a lot of his various team mates
  7. Any comments from Mr Dickson on last nights performance and defeat? All quiet from him on the website
  8. I was thinking the exact same thing... bloody quick thinking if he did
  9. I'd hate to be Lions manager, you just don't know what you're going to get from any rider, meeting to meeting or race to race... except for Richard Lawson, Mr Dependable. Piss poor performance from the captain again tonight, Hagon shows promise, I'll reserve judgement until I've seen him round BP though, he ain't going to turn this team around though, nor was he expected to. Kemp must be on borrowed time. Schlein put himself in the shop window tonight, he wasn't that fast but I think it's the most aggressive I've ever seen him ride.
  10. And what's that got to do with Ben Trigger or Redcar?
  11. What happens if you use "product" or dye or bleach your hair? Do you go for back, sack or crack?
  12. Let's hope he turns out better than Havvy's last protege who went off the rails somewhat once he left Havvy's guidance and now has a whole "locked" topic devoted to him on these forums
  13. It depends on who is hosting the show from the BSN "booth"... there's a few of them
  14. If people haven't seen it, BSN does a kind of magazine programme for around an hour available to watch on YouTube. The first 2 have featured Rory Schlein and @IanBrannanin his sound dungeon (where nobody can hear you scream ) and it's well worth a watch.
  15. Or he could be getting 3 rides if his form is similar to his other home meeting
  16. Is Havvy doing something with Ben Trigger this year? I noticed during the BSN coverage at Oxford that Trigger had "Havvy" written on his race suit collar and was also running a yin and yang back wheel spoiler.
  17. I doubt very much that these riders are flying in on private jets or in Business Class... they're more likely coming in on a 20 quid Ryanair redeye
  18. Again I think you're giving him far too much credit for him thinking about what he does or probably more to the point how he goes about doing it. But the "bad boy of British Speedway" has been the missing boy of British Speedway for the last 8 or 9 years and did he think Polish Speedway needed a boost when attacking that fan? I'm all for a bit of controversy and winding up the fans but please do it with some class and style. Like I've said, I think he can be a thoughtful and an engaging character who's very interesting to listen to
  19. Okay, I'm bored now, but couldn't resist checking this thread after seeing the pumping your lot took at Poole... I think I've made my point now so I'm gong to leave it or I'll be accused of stalking like when @IronScorpion stalks me. Cheer up mate and try and enjoy your Speedway like me
  20. Nope, just catching up on last weeks action, good win for your lot on that track. Great tactic of having Cookie bitching about the track and getting it changed to the way he wants it (like he did at Redcar)... and I mean that most sincerely
  21. Great insight from Schlein, I thought, on BSN explaining why some of the foreign talent returning to the UK have been so crap
