The statement from the SCB relates to Kurtz's further shenanigans after his initial offences were committed (end of May/ early June), the ones I provided you the dates and venues for after you called me a troll. The SCB statement also makes no mention of FIM events, it does say "if Mr Kurtz competes in any other events " As you seem to be living in your own reality, some time in the 1970's, I'm going to draw a line under it now as far as you're concerned. Enjoy your Speedway

Never once cast doubt on Brady's injuries. Not interested in what happened in a different century, I'm interested in the application of the rules in 2024. I'm questioning why Kurtz, Tungate & Lampart have not been suspended
-
Do the rules make exception for FIM meetings?
-
As far as the rules are concerned, it is the same, there is no distinction between riding for a team or individually. Covatti didn't ride in a foreign league match, it was an open meeting, the Totalizator ZZ MO Krsko Open meeting in Slovenia for which he received a 28 day suspension. Didn't comment on Brady's injuries from Monday... just wanted to know why he wasn't riding in the evening when he was in the morning, not too much to ask I don't think.

It's got nothing to do with Kurtz being a Belle Vue rider. The exact same offence has been committed by numerous riders this season and the same sanction has not been meted out to the riders. Covatti, Musielak, Basso & Pawlicki receive 28 day suspensions Meanwhile Kurtz, Tungate & Lampart have received no suspension... yet in the case of the last 2 I may have missed some riders is been so prevalent this season. And then there's the Doyle & Tungate "travel issues" debacle. There's just no consistency
-
Totally agree, unfortunately there is no nuance in the rules, so there should be a 28 day suspension like for all of the other riders... except for Kurtz & Tungate (so far) of course. Having said that, this one does seem to be slightly different as there is specific mention of "the seven day illness rule". So he's been signed off under that rule meaning he can't ride for his British club but can turn out for his other clubs... it seems that a bit of rule manipulation has gone on here... you just couldn't make this stuff up! Mr Morris is being very quiet with regards to all these shenanigans after a bright start it looks like it's going to be very much the same old...

What's that? the No 'Kin' Idea reg? -
Juicy Brucey wasn't a crim was he? (only to the film making industry!)

OXFORD: Rohan Tungate, Erik Riss, Chris Harris, Charles Wright, Maciej Janowski, Ashton Boughen, Luke Killeen. LEICESTER: Max Fricke, Richard Lawson, Sam Masters, Luke Becker, Ryan Douglas, Craig Cook, Sam Hagon. Surely Tungate should be banned from this one? Rode 17/8 for Rybnik Missed 19/8 Oxford vs Leicester Rode 20/8 for Smederna Missed 22/8 KL vs Oxford Rode 25/8 Rybnik

Now The Weasel is back from his holidays and surely investigating Tungate-gate 2 "The return of the missing rider", when he's done that he can turn his attention to Wiktor Lampart who rode for Torun on Sun Aug 20, missed Brums match against Ippo on the Monday, rode for Torun U24 on the Tuesday and will be missing from Ippo tomorrow night "under the seven day illness rule"... which seems to contradict all these 28 day bans being handed out

They'll be following the greats, Suzie Quatro, Edwin Starr... Chas & Dave

Belle Vue V Sheffield - Mon 26th @ noon
IainB replied to GeneralMelchett's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Ps. I was also struggling for breath that much that I wasn't able to inform my club that I wouldn't be riding for them until a few minutes ago by Facebook Messenger. That's a joke for those of you with no sense of humour. Belle Vue really don't help their riders with their wall of silence. -
Spoil sport! And I thought I was being so funny

Kenny Carter? Jason Garrity? Kenni Larsen?

Maybe they're interval entertainment?

Is it on BSN? -
So, Pisspoor Pawlicki has picked up his obligatory 28 day suspension... that'll teach him (and others)... hope he wasn't lined up to guest for Ippo in the pay offs Now for Tungate-gate 2

Not sure why you keep going on about trolling? You told me I was trolling the other week when you couldn't be arsed to search out the details of Mr Kurtz's previous misdemeanours and then I provided them to you. I've said it before and I'll say it again, don't have a problem with Kurtz being injured, I do have a problem with inconsistent application of the rules and non- information from clubs in what had supposed to be a professional sport. If Speedway had any kind of serious press interest it'd be sunk on day 1, probably best to stay in the doldrums until the promoters can get their houses in order. -

Those of us watching on TV had no idea either and seemingly neither did the TV people, though that's not saying much -

Chris Holder pretty much said that while being interviewed last night. Your official source for this information? ... and they also operate a squad system to cover for missing riders and still operate RR -

I was just about to post exactly the same... until a few minutes ago they were still showing a link selling tickets for yesterday morning's meeting! And now they've got the most minimal match report: "A challenging bank holiday of racing saw the Belle Vue ‘ATPI’ Aces move from fourth to second in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership, ahead of their final meeting at King’s Lynn on August 28." Seriously, that's it. It may go some way to explaining why they've got the best Speedway stadium in the UK, the best race track in the world and can only attract a few hundred people along from Britain's 3rd largest city!
