King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
IainB replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Some easy beer money? No pressure, come back for a few meetings for a team that has no chance of making the play offs while concentrating on claiming a top 6 spot in the GP's and earning some serious coin in Poland? I honestly don't know, did he ever give his reasons for returning for 6 matches? -
You'll be pleased to know that your Number 1 has made a miraculous recovery from his mystery undisclosed injuries in Poland today, it's amazing what a zloty can do to perk you up!

Not angry at all, I actually find it all quite amusing... reading all these silly names being mentioned in relation to King's Lynn on a "serious team predictions" topic. MPT will come back and you'll possibly get Zach Cook and/or Connor Mountain for somebody imo. The days of Buster marching up and down the pits at the SoN waving his cheque book around are long gone! -

Yes, thanks for that, I agree with you. It was more of a question than a statement. It's still a long time ago though. 2023 bottom 2022 bottom but one 2021 bottom 2019 bottom but one 2018 top, lost to Poole 2017 bottom but one 2016 bottom but two 2015 5th out of 8 2014 2nd, out in the semis 2013 5th out of 10 2012 7th out of 10 2011 3rd out of 10 With the exception of 2018, Lynn have been pretty crap since 2016 and pretty much a laughing stock in more recent times with all of the call offs etc -

Birmingham are as big a joke as you lot are. Lambert has only become truly world class since he left the psychodrama that is King's Lynn speedway behind. -

No you must be a world class rider and here for the long haul. Play off Bob has blown you and British Speedway out, you need to understand this. The topic of this thread is "serious team predictions" -

Robert Lambert a King's Lynn asset. He is home grown talent, who turns up if and when he can/wants, if he can be persuaded! I'm talking a marquee signing, an Emil, a Jack Holder, a Tai Woffinden, a Max Fricke, signed from the start of the season and not binned off halfway through. -

I know it's nice to dream and fun to speculate... but who was King's Lynn's last big marquee signing? Artem Laguta, and he cleared off after a handful of matches because you couldn't afford him, before that? Jason Crump, some 25 years ago! Lynn fans need to get real! -
Whoever makes the pay offs in 4th spot will be straight out imo, BV, Ippo & Sheffield all look to be stronger than any of the other 4 teams in contention, even when they're carrying injuries, especially over 2 legs and especially as Ippo and Sheffield will probably replace their injured riders for the pay offs

Yet again a ref leaves it dangerously late to stop a race before putting all back in the rerun! Do these refs get assessed at all? -
What exactly are his injuries? It was a nothing fall... cut him and he bleeds zloty's, and Monster Energy of course. Maybe he's on paternity leave

R/R for Jack Holder at Leicester tonight and until a miraculous recovery when threatened with a ban Kurtz was injured and possible out for the season were the reports coming out of Belle Vue. -

Lemo seems to have the biggest decision to make, who do you go for out of an injured Holder, an injured Kurtz with home track knowledge and an up and down Fricke with a lot of BV knowledge? Knowing Lemo it'll probably be a left field decision. -

What about the tide though? I know Cecil Ford thinks he's a god, has he managed to stop the tides as well?
