  1. We should count ourselves lucky that King's Lynn have actually got a clock... it's taken them a couple of years to get one on the centre, all they've got to do now is learn how to use the thing, I know time runs differently in Norfolk 😁😜
  2. I've said it before, you can't fail to be impressed/excited when a newbie at Speedway, the sheer spectacle of it all live is brilliant... it's when these noobs start to become more regular and question why their top rider was missing the meeting to not ride elsewhere that the problems start. Well done to the Glads for showing some initiative though 👏
  3. I think you're reading too much into it, it's clear that it's just another payday for him
  4. ... and then the illusion that these matches matter is shattered by Tom Brennan saying he didn't even know he was riding in a cup final until he arrived at the stadium... FFS!
  5. And Super Tom B, was worried about his selection after his stinker in the SEC at the weekend.
  6. He ain't smiling anymore, Mr Dickson just hinted that his head's gone 😂
  7. Good ride from Howarth in 10... Thunderstorms forecast for Thursday afternoon in Leicester, with the way Lions riders ride our home track when it's wet this could still be wide open.
  8. BSN showing rider positions during races and I noticed that they actually showed the league table standings after the Sheffield match. 👍🏻👏
  9. Lions all stood around together having a laugh and a joke... except for Joe Thompson
  10. You say that, but... passing should be difficult and riders should be utilising all their riding skills to accomplish that pass or it just becomes all too easy and dare I say it boring, that's why I'm not a fan of the Scunny track, yes there's a lot of passing but I've seen riders make passes at that track and I couldn't really say how they've made the pass, it just seems a bit random... like the speedway equivalent of Basketball, when they just score a basket and then go up the other end and score a basket and vice versa until the clock runs down, or the passing that goes on at the Indy 500.
  11. A lot of riders do look a lot larger than they are due to all the body armour they wear, it was just surprising to see the growth spurt Cairns had done since I saw him last season. Speedway is generally a small man's game and you just don't know what kind of a man some of these kids will grow into, maybe that's a reason why not many 250cc champs make the grade at 500cc when they grow into men... I think it's a fair discussion to have.
  12. JT has been starting like a demon lately... and managed to hold on to his positions at Sheffield last Thursday
  13. That must be to pay for the new multi million pound British Speedway tv contract!
  14. It's almost as if Google AI has been reading this forum 😂
  15. Wasn't the fixture they had to cancel a rearranged fixture? Or was that the Monday fixture?
  16. Poland have no priority over Plymouth when there is no meeting on in Poland... or have I missed something? I'll happily stand corrected if you can show me something I've missed. I know he's not got a private jet, though I do know Polish clubs have arranged for private flights to enable riders to get to meetings in the past. I've posted a number of options that would have allowed Klindt to ride in both meetings on the Plymouth vs Oxford thread, just like many other riders seem to manage. You seem to think it's okay for riders contracted to ride for British clubs to drop them to enable travel time to meetings, just like you think it's okay for riders to ride in Poland fit, while not to ride in the UK due to injury.
  17. I've parked in the OneStop last couple of times I've been with no issue
  18. Not for LOWER league speedway... which is where Poole are languishing 😁
  19. I don't think Mr Ford's were very happy about that and felt a bit let down by the British authorities.
  20. It most certainly is... I just typed the exact words from the OP into Google AI, interestingly it didn't mention female Speedway or Wembley. I'm not suggesting AI is right, because in my experience it most certainly always isn't... but it's very good for idea generation.
