  1. What a terrible performance from the Glads... can we just put Sweet Caroline on now and then I can switch off!
  2. Kyle Newman having a p1ss behind the cabin in the pits... Live only on BSN!
  3. Come on the Glads! What time is Sweet Caroline on?
  4. A year is no where near long enough even if the promoters have the best intentions of finding a new site... Coventry & Peterborough were give several years notice that they were going to be evicted and didn't come up with any alternatives to ensure no break in participation. Cradley never found anywhere in the same area. From memory, I think there has only been Belle Vue that continued from one season to another in different venues. As I've said elsewhere you can only hope that this is some kind of public negotiating exercise by the landlords as to offer a 4 year lease and then not sign it when it's returned begs a lot of questions as to what their motives are
  5. You have to wonder whether the Wolves situation is just a public negotiating exercise... as you don't offer your tenants a 4 year agreement and then not sign it when it's returned, can't help but think there's something else going on there, I could be wrong of course
  6. He could have resigned and let somebody who has a plan to save and revive the sport have a go? Just an idea
  7. For those of you that don't follow R/R on Twitter (and you're missing a treat if you don't) you may not have seen this... surely some kind of April Fool, isn't it? Surely? https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/sport/other-sport/plymouth-gladiators-hope-finally-start-8360718
  8. I'd say healthy without being spectacular. Not as much as the height of last summer, but we had a winning team then
  9. The track hasn't been as conducive to passing so far this season as it was last... bring back those bumps!
  10. It was nice to read Rob Godfrey's rallying Churchillian war cry, FINALLY for some reason this Wolves news seems to have hit home with him despite his Charimanship since 2018 seeing the closure of Rye House, Somerset, Swindon, Lakeside, Newcastle, Workington, Buxton, Cradley, Eastbourne, Kent, Stoke and the expulsion of IoW. Like others have said with Edinburgh & Peterborough highly doubtful for next year and question marks around Poole's future and the annual Birmingham crisis it could be a total of 15 clubs gone in 5 years under his stewardship... FIFTEEN! Even if you factor in the return of Oxford, Worky & Kent... that's still 12 a number higher than any of the current 3 leagues we have running
  11. There was a lovely first 2 turns by Bomber to out fox Emil when they met, didn't take too long for Emil to pick him off though... ... and is it Chris "The Bomber" Harris or Chris "Bomber" Harris? "The Bomber" just doesn't sound quite right to me
  12. He really needs to up his game out of the starts if he's to do ote around Leicester
  13. Looks like we'll be concentrating on the league
  14. Been done already and somehow they managed to fudge that one up too
  15. How about a new topic... British clubs in FL? Because at the rate we're going that's a more realistic subject heading
  16. Petition to sign here: https://chng.it/dXKJYnjdnD
  17. That all-weather track would come in useful!
  18. It'll be interesting to see how many are there tonight as I can't imagine many making the trip from Ippo other than a hardcore and Peterborough riding just down the road
  19. It's difficult to judge crowd numbers but Leicesters last Thursday seemed to be decent-ish without being anything to write home about. I was at Peterborough's opener and there was a buzz about the place unlike at Leicester. One thing I did notice was that the 50/50 draw numbers (or whatever they call it) seemed to be down at about £350 ish and last year I'm pretty sure it was around £450 ish... not that scientific but maybe an indicator?
  20. LEICESTER: Max Fricke, Justin Sedgmen, Richard Lawson, Chris Harris, Nick Morris, Jake Allen, Dan Thompson. IPSWICH: Jason Doyle, Erik Riss R/R, Danny King, Keynan Rew, Emil Sayfutdinov, Danyon Hume, Joe Thompson.
