  1. I notice that Leicester have had their top boffins working on getting a countdown clock working on the centre green and finally managed it for this match. Well done to Ippo on their win although it looked like nobody told Ritchie Hawkins about it!
  2. I think Ando and Puk can still both do a job... not as heat leader or 2nd string, respectively, though. In the current BL setup I think Puk can be a decent 2nd/3rd heat leader (Danny King level) and Ando a very decent reserve come 2nd string. If they're both still enjoying their Speedway why should they not carry on
  3. Would have been nice to have seen him out practicing after the meeting last night along with Basso, Jenkins & Woj
  4. That's not really Andersen's style is it. Panthers certainly missed him last night! If Peterborough are around next season and are at the showground they should be going all out to sign Ryan Douglas, I've never seen him have a bad meeting at Peterborough (awaiting posts telling me he scored 1 point a few years ago ), Brady Kurtz is another who excels at the showground. I know it's early days for the young inexperienced Pole but he performed exactly how inexperienced Poles perform in this country. Not sure why they packed their team out with Danes this year when historically it's more of an Aussie style track
  5. Did I hear R Worrall say Hans had retired?
  6. Rain has cleared, sun trying to break through now
  7. Wright's Home BV average = 8.24 Brennan's Home BV average = 7.60 Not much in it, add in Brennan's international experience and he gets the nod, in the eyes of S&A
  8. More than: Pedersen, Michelsen, Kolodziej, Lidsey & Chris Holder
  9. I wonder if that makes a profit... currently there are no Cubs in the senior team, I assume they're getting loan fees for some of the asseted riders
  10. The forecast isn't great but it's set to clear by around 4pm, time is running out on the season and the TV cameras will be there. I've given up trying to second guess what Speedway promotions will do theses days, so who knows? If only they had something that could cover the track when the weather at start time is due to be okay
  11. I wouldn't mind seeing Emil again around Leicester, but will probably plump for a trip over to Peterborough as there's just too much hanging around for a TV match
  12. Andersen's 2023 record: Home: 8, 8, 4, 7, 5 Away: 1, 3, 3, 3, 2, 5, 5, 5, 7, 10
  13. Wonder if they'll have "For Sale" banners adorning the air bags on Monday if the TV Cameras are in town
  14. We must not upset Eurosport! The saviours of our sport
  15. They maybe have to ride in these meetings because it's being run as a business, so to sell sponsorship packages to other businesses they'll have a programme of events that they're participating in to sell to sponsors. The sponsors, The Daily Star for example, probably don't even know or care that some of the competitions the team are riding in carry little prestige. That would be my take on it anyway
  16. I don't think it's called Twitter anymore
  17. I think Tai straight lined it once... surprised me Lambert & Bewley didn't do it more... It's probably a difficult move though, trouble is Zmarzlik makes it look so easy!
  18. Wow! You have to hand it to MAGIC Janowski tonight, redemption for the SoN in 2021. Danes did well to come back from a disastrous start Aussies unlucky with Jack Holder Brits 1 rider short of an easy victory Now for Leicester vs Ipswich on Monday
