I've been to Leicester all season, home and many away, I've purchased the BSN+ pass for the pairs and I've been encouraged to buy into the Jubilee Trophy. I've been waiting since Leicester completed their league campaign on the 24th of July, over 3 months ago, for the pay offs, I've been short changed with the pairs and the Jubilee Trophy is being treated as if it never existed! Yes, I'm feeling pretty buggered about!

... and it'll probably be called off again! Heavy rain again tomorrow night, then clear until tapes up. Will be interesting to see how the riders get on as no doubt they'll start the meeting. I'm no track expert but I've been around long enough to know that you can't lay a track on the day of the meeting and expect to run a double header on it. Cardiff is laid days in advance and look at what a mess that is.

I was wondering how to word that sentiment myself and you've nailed it! In their email to me it says they've manually got to process all of the refunds! We'll probably be paying a premium next year to cover the fact that BSN are dealing with a bunch of amateurs in the BSPL

Having just posted that... I've now received an email from BSN telling me it won't be staged and I'm getting a refund. You would have thought BSPL would have been first with the news!

It says on the Ippo website that a new date for the postponed round at Leicester will be confirmed... although there seems to be a media blackout at BSPL towers with no news of any note coming out about this or the Jubilee Trophy finals

I'm not so sure he has, if you read flagrag's post and he doesn't normally post stuff that is wrong it reads as if they're putting the track down on the day of the event, so it doesn't matter how much rain we have between now and then, currently it's hammering it down. Question is how good a track can you lay on the day of an event to run a double header?

I think track covers would have worked on this occasion(s)... numerous times we had overnight/morning rain clearing by 10 am, time to remove the covers and prep a track (at this time of year) I would have thought... but the damage had already been done. The man (person) power in putting them down and taking them up may have been an issue though

It ain't great from the Leicester promotion is it... If you say "Details of a re-staging date for this week will follow later today.", yesterday and then just put nothing else out, not even change it to Details of a re-staging date for this week will follow in due course, it just makes an already bad situation worse imo
