  2. Unfair riding used to be a reason to exclude a rider, in Britain at least, don't know if it still is or if it's an FIM reg
  3. Speedway IS NOT a contact sport despite what Greg Hancock said, so either Bartek knocked JD off or Doyley turned in on him... for me Doyley did not turn in on Bartek. Good result for Holder 2000th of a second to grab 2nd, with those kind of margins I wonder if the difference in length between the edge of the front tyre and the transponder could decide a result? (Although I realise not so on this occasion)
  4. It's been a lovely evening for some Speedway here in Leicester tonight... just saying
  5. Top tip if you watch your speedway on the Discovery+ app on a Sky Q box. It doesn't offer me the opportunity to watch from the start when an event is on live (at least it doesn't on mine), so I have to wait for it to finish before I can start it from the beginning. But I can use my Sky credentials to login to the app on an android platform where it does offer this option so I can watch it on delay.
  6. I don't believe it! Have you ever tried to get to and from Tottenham Hotspur stadium by public transport? Possibly the worst transport links in London!
  7. Before that even i drive up a hill to get to the stadium
  8. Do a Glasgow you mean? They must be desperately searching through the obituaries to see who's died
  9. I don't, do you know they were? Why would you sweep it under the carpet... you'd at least say action has been taken even if you didn't say what the sanction was. We're going to be in the shambolic position that the final for this years competition is more likely than not going to be held before the final of last years!
  10. I accept I've already been mugged off, rightly or wrongly (probably wrongly now) they're still trying to finish this competition off, when it should have been finished last year, but you guys pulled out not on the 9th of September but on the 20th of October using an excuse right up there with Buster's gate or Bill Barker's dog when it became apparent that the competition was not going to be completed.
  11. If you don't mind being mugged off by your promotion... so be it
  12. I just think if you enter a competition and you qualify for a final you owe it to your fans to compete in that final and that goes for Leicester and Poole too. If you are not punished for not competing in that final that sets a dangerous precedent.
  13. Don't get bogged down in semantics my friends... doesn't matter whether you call it, recognise it as the same competition or not, Glasgow should not of gone without sanction for pulling out of last years competition, i know it, you know it, we all know it... Where's the sporting integrity? It just makes a mockery of a sport struggling to be taken seriously
  14. Some of these riders need putting on 2 minutes when selecting their start numbers
  15. It's the same competition, it just has a sponsor this year. How do you feel that you paid out to see your team qualify for a final and then they just pull out of it?
  16. Your club received no punishment for pulling out of the equivalent competition last year initiating the devaluation of the whole thing. You can't just take your ball home without sanction... oh hang on, it's speedway, of course you can
  17. Pity they didn't show the same enthusiasm for the Jubilee Trophy last year... Glasgow shouldn't even be in the competition this year!
  18. Just seemed a bit OTT for a win in the mickey mouse cup, still, they seem to have a good team spirit going
  19. Apparently so... as a Leicester fan though, when I've been up there I've never seen Scunny win at home
