Was good to see Tom Brennan specifically stop to wave and acknowledge the Birmingham fans at the end of the match last week, didn't have to do it and he was only guesting... class!

Fortunately for you guys, it's probably not going to make a jot of difference where you only have to finish in the top 4 of a 6 team league to potentially go on to be Champions Well that's clearly different to what the Sheffield promotions statement said, so the centre green announcer was misinforming the crowd... and was then all over Twitter saying how depressed he was with people's reactions. If he'd informed the crowd of the actual facts, maybe there would have been more understanding. I believe there's one going cheap up at Newcastle

Personally I'd like to see Sam fronting the show... on his own for the whole 2-2 and a half hours, or pair him up with Rosco, the dream team!
-
I think most of the frustration was the lack of information coming from Eurosport to the viewer, surely they could of sent Sam down there with a camera to see what the problem was. Not sure what info was given to the fans in the stadium though. Having read the statement, it does seem like a bit of a freak incident with an Apollo 13 style fix to get the meeting running again. I think most reasonable people can understand things like this can happen and genuinely can't be planned for... I spent an hour trying to get a screw out of the wall the other week, it would not budge, didn't matter what I did, had to drill it out in the end, sometimes the simplest of things just have you stumped

Is that the new Workington bowser?
-
... and they'll still be trying to get it all finished by 31/10

Has shown more commitment to British Speedway than some British riders... Hans Andersen in that bracket also

You're just trying to get rid of me from here Blimey! speedwayplus.com is still going! I haven't been there since using the programme generator and match report generator many many years ago
-
The only consolation, with it being on Eurosport, nobody was watching
-
It's a clear design flaw that nobody will address

I wonder if Leicester would let me do an editorial in their programme? Or Birmingham? What about Scunny?
-
That's what somebody on here said, with the constant inflating and deflating it does wear out, which seems fair... don't know that you would have to replace it all at the same time though, surely you'd buy panels over time to spread the cost.

They get a Mr 50% man to do the negotiations for them!

I'm not sure we were disagreeing on anything lol Zmarzlik is clearly the best rider of the current crop and as you say he can only beat those put in front of him. Emil was never going to be World Champion imo, when he could have been he wasn't even riding in the SGP's... So then you could question Tai's 3 on that basis. As for Laguta, well, hmm... suddenly very very fast, i wonder if his engines could have been sent to WADA for testing at the back of a queue of lots of other Russian "atheletes"?

Bloody hell... sounds like Nuremberg! -
These questions have probably been answered before but can you only use the Unipart parking if you buy online? can you pay at the turnstile? do they take card payments?
-
It always makes me laugh when, usually the meeting presenter says it's totally different watching on the infield, as surely you're watching 50% of the race from the inside anyway even though you're on the outside... if you follow me

Leicester vs Birmingham 25/06/2022 CL

They do and you have to wonder if they have the right kit to be able to put enough water onto a big area track in enough time for the moisture to be able to stay in the track. Maybe it's also the type of shale used? Back in the Glyn Taylor era I don't seem to remember the surface being such a problem... although the shape of the track always has been -
Why not do it before you go? Much more entertaining and then compare to what actually happens, in fact that could be a good competition on the night... winner wins a prize! Maybe the privilege of watching a race from the centre green... it's a totally different experience we're told

I think all the ingredients are there from various tracks around the country they just need to take the best bits from each and put them together. Leicester starts great with a pretty good rider parade similar to Belle Vue's (which imo is the best) but then send the tractors out for the rest of the night Peterborough do a pretty good job these days tbh, the rider parade ain't so great but Craig Saul does a very good job bringing rider interviews throughout the evening and usually it's all done and dusted (not that dusty) in 90 minutes. I don't really get around to enough of the other tracks these days (most of the ones I used to go to have closed) but those that I have been to, Scunthorpe: Like a wake at a funeral, Birmingham: nothing to write home about
