  1. Anybody that can put a bit of effort in and finish a race ticks the box at the moment.
  2. I think it's time to allow a free practice before a meeting like they do in Poland for riders to get their "setups" right. Having half the meeting passed before riders have got their kit right because the track is "random" is not really on in 2025! From what I've seen this season the preparation of many tracks has left a lot to be desired. Most tracks don't really have the kit to get enough water into a track like they do on Poland, when you see their truck go round the whole track is ready to race after a couple of laps, cut to the UK and IF the water cart does make an appearance during a meeting, it's like watching an old man have a pish.
  3. ... even the op lost interest in their own topic šŸ˜‚
  4. Not surprising, even the Belle Vue owners were on the pa earlier in the season saying the GP's were on the 12th and 13th of June!!
  5. Don't forget nobody wants to ride over here... until all of a sudden they do
  6. And nobody's recommended the Leicester burgers šŸ”
  7. Julie Reading left earlier in the year
  8. I've heard it suggested that they only got 14 days because MJJ wasn't withholding his services, his contract just expired. I also assume that's why MJJ hasn't been issued a 28 day ban. The SCB have been awfully quiet this year, probably still recovering from all their admin of last year.
  9. "A change in the averages for June means Birmingham will operate Rider Replacement at No.1 for Michael Jepsen Jensen having had their initial 14 day facility extended to cover the absent Dane." BIRMINGHAM: Michael Jepsen Jensen R/R, Paco Castagna, Tobiasz Musielak, Keynan Rew, Matej Zagar, Jonas Jeppesen, Jason Edwards. BELLE VUE: Dan Bewley, Norick Blodorn, Jaimon Lidsey, Zach Cook, Brady Kurtz, Tate Zischke, Jake Mulford.
  10. Especially if around half of the rounds were to be held in Germany
  11. World individual Championships [edit] 2019 World individual championship - runner up 2019 World individual championship - 5th 2021 World individual championship - 7th 2022 World individual championship - runner up 2023 World individual championship - 5th 2024 World individual championship - 9th He missed 1 GP last year due to injury, if he'd scored his average he would have finished above Michelsen and did finish ahead of Lebedevs, Huckenbeck & Kvech... unbelievable Jeff!
  12. Was gutted for Kurtz, great recovery after a disastrous start. Madsen had him fair and square though, it's a travesty Madsen is not in the GP series this year
  13. There's no need for any of these host nations to have a local wild card anymore as they all have a home nation rider already in it
  14. ... and you've not even mentioned Klima, there's no way that rider should be anywhere near a GP! The Czechs already have Kvech in the series so what's the logic of giving the wild card spot to Klima?!?!
  15. ... and these medical people are always telling us that mental problems should be treated like physical problems. Sounds like when I wanted my mum to write me a sick note to get out of gymnastics at school and wouldn't!
  16. His talent on a speedway bike is not in doubt and he's right up there with the best riders ever, he can gate, he can pass, he's brave, he's clever on track, mechanically he's spot on and anything else you want to add and everything he's wonhe has deserved... I just think as a "World Champion" he doesn't do enough as an ambassador for our sport
  17. I'm sorry, Bartosz is undoubtedly one of the best riders ever, he's got it all, but... I think he's a rubbish world champion
  18. Doesn't matter, quali has just been cancelled due to weather 🌧
