Heat 8 first race with no dust... spitting with rain now 😂

7 races in 80 minutes... it's a bit tortuous this. Just announced we're now waiting for the water to soak in! That's a new one

I thought Kemp locked up right in front of him... from what I saw through the dust.

After 10 mins of watering after heat 4, the track is now just about in the condition it should have been for heat 1. Of course the inside line has not been touched, that's where everybody is riding and the dust is still billowing up from the back wheels.

Track's a disgrace... again! Could be dusted off... again!

It could and should have been so much better than it was though, unfortunately the PL was just a continuation of their CL years.

Sounds like he didn't lose £100k he did not earn £100k, they're very different things. Lost earnings, although it would have been shown as a loss on that years accounts, he would have recouped the majority of his outgoings for that cancelled season when Speedway started up again I'd have thought.

The actual Championship has been decided on ballot in the past, so no surprise to see this tonight.

As there's no asset system anymore and some of these RS's are put through the mincer on a regular basis and most clubs don't seem to mind who rides for them when it comes to guests etc... I wonder if there's any value in having a pool of RS's that move around the clubs, like on a merry go round, on a month by month basis. So Killeen starts the season and spends April at Oxford, May at Leicester, June at Sheffield, July at Belle Vue, August at Birmingham and September at King's Lynn etc. etc. Just an idea

I notice that when a rider goes down in Poland the TV cameras don't shy away from showing the rider on the track after the crash unlike coverage in this country or in the GP's. Always struck me as strange to not show it because when you're watching in person you don't turn away and start looking at people in the crowd, you're normally looking at the rider on the track to see if they're okay.

I wonder if he wears them during a race... too kool for skool 😎

Has he got there on merit? Especially as there was nothing mentioned about GP reserve places being on offer at the British Final beforehand. It seems that particular qualifying criteria was decided afterwards. Personally I'd like to have seen the likes of Anders Rowe and Tom Brennan given those spots.
