Get this... So, I contacted Virgin Media yesterday, to ask where Eurosport had gone (playing dumb). I was initially offered TNT for Β£18pm with the first 3 months free, after a bit of moaning I got 5 months free and told to call back at the end of July to renegotiate. So, half a result. I then went to see if I could access the Discovery+ app and to my astonishment as a VM customer I can't! So this means I should be okay for British Speedway and the SGP until July. What I probably won't be able to watch is the SGP2, SON2, SGP3 and the must see Sprint Races (π)... unless I pay another Β£30.99 pm, assuming they're not going to be shown on TNT, as they weren't shown previously on Eurosport. So if you're a VM customer it maybe better just to go for the Discovery+ app option rather than adding TNT to your VM package. What a buggers muddle!

I'm going to give Virgin Media a call later this week to see if we can agree on something, I've got a year to go on my contact though, having said that I am getting TV, 400mb Broadband, Telephone & Sky Sports all for Β£60p/m... and I got Β£167 cash back, kerching π€ Still looking for an IPTV recommendation though just in case... anybody? DM me π€π -
There's a circumcision joke in there somewhere... but I'm going to leave it alone!

It took you 7 years to come up with that joke? π

I think the best idea with the streamers (Disney, Apple, Paramount, Discovery etc) is to hop from one to the other and just binge what you want to watch then move to the next, you then free up some money for the channels that carry live sports, Sky, TNT and to a lesser extent Amazon. It's a bit of admin, but no point continuously paying out for stuff that's always going to be available.

It was a report from a Polish news source was it not?

In the UK a coin toss is done before the match by the 2 team captains and whoever wins chooses the preprogrammed gate choices by selecting 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 in heat one... or they elect to choose the gate positions in the final race. The announcer will then say to use column A or B in the printed match programme. Does that help?

He's only staying until the end of April isn't he? Will it be R/R for the rest of the season?

Can you use "zestaw startowy" in context for us... give us an example sentence you would use it in, in Polish.

Any idea on who's replacing MJJ yet? π

I've not used Grok but have asked similar questions to ChatGPT about how to boost the sport, that was a while back though. Gemini can seemingly offer opinions when asked about Speedway, I've only asked basic questions about team make ups etc. It can get its knickers in a twist every now and again though

To take a positive, at least the British Speedway & SGP rights are on the same channel, even if it has gone up to Β£30.99 p/m. Imagine if British Speedway was on Sky and SGP on TNT, that'd be nearly a Β£50 subscription fee! It's hard to see the SGP (SoN etc) being shown anywhere else as WBD own the staging and TV rights.
