  1. It says here that his new Polish club were paying him around £160,000... add that to his previous Ekstraliga earnings, Sweden, GB, GP, Monster Energy, etc. And you can easily see that totting up to millions over the years. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/1181570/zuzel-stal-rzeszow-podjela-wazna-decyzje-w-sprawie-taia-woffindena
  2. Good win for Lynn, can't help but think they'll be buggered when Bomber moves up from reserve, can't see many of the others banging in the kind of performances that Bomber does around Lynn.
  3. Weak refereeing from Christina Pitbull... interval should be after heat 11 and there's a maximum time written in the rules between races. "Except when the Referee considers that there are valid reasons for delaying the start of an ensuing heat, the interval between the finish of one heat and the start of the next shall not exceed 4 minutes including the 2 minute allowance" I wonder what the reason was that the ref considered valid?
  4. Does British Speedway still have a track inspector? Nice to see the return of the drop handlebar... they were all the rage in the 90's
  5. Looks like the track is prepared for 1 rider, great stuff from Bomber
  6. It did look like Lawson coming by him frit him up a bit
  7. The daft thing is he's made 2 starts tonight and if he'd just ridden the line he'd probably be unbeaten. It's like he's trying to be Chris Harris and there ain't many of them about.
  8. What on earth Ashton Boughen is up to is anybody's guess!
  9. Agreed, but... he's been undercooked (pun intended) so far by any standards. Maybe you wouldn't be expecting him to beat other teams number 1's but he should have the beating of 2 of the other riders in the race (maybe not in 13). His stats don't make for good reading http://www.gbspeedway.com/2025/riderperf.php?mc1=s&mc2=r&mc3=av&mc4=x&rider=Benjamin Cook&league=A&sort=date&comp=All&club=Overall He's not that bad a rider.
  10. Thanks, that's good to know... I use this website for Football and Cricket... it's most useful 👌
  11. £93,000 of unsold tickets... BRILLIANT 👏 👏 👏
  12. He was at the Berwick P&P yesterday which suggests not
  13. KING’S LYNN: Ben Cook, Nicolai Klindt, Jan Kvech, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Richard Lawson, Chris Harris, Ashton Boughen. LEICESTER: Max Fricke, Luke Becker, Ryan Douglas, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Drew Kemp, Sam Hagon.
  14. As 3 of those 4 spent time at reserve you could say they had a team of reserves.
  15. I'm sure we'll find out as the press surely have him a grilling at today's "press" & practice
  16. Nice to see that Craig Cook is still in the team on Lions website: https://www.leicesterspeedway.com/TeamLions Perhaps he's now "ready to ride Speedway" after definitely turning out at Berwick's P&P day today 😉
  17. It's a shame you came down from sunny Manchester determined not to enjoy yourself! I'll counter your selective lowlights from updates with: Heat 5: Kurtz passed Douglas on Bend 2 Lap 4 Heat 6: Fricke does eventually get up the inside coming off Bend 2 Lap 2 Heat 7: Masters who continued to press hard throughout the race. Kemp went under Cook on Bend 4 Lap 1 Heat 8: Blodorn comes down on the backstraight whilst battling Becker for the lead Heat 11: holds off Masters for 2 laps before the race settled down Heat 12: Lidsey rides a fantastic opening lap to pass Kemp exiting Bend 2 and then Douglas on Bend 4 before clearing off Heat 13: Bewley trying hard to pass Masters and is briefly past him off Bend 4 Lap 1 before Masters gets back into third down the homestraight Heat 15: Aces out in front until Fricke forcefully goes under Kurtz entering Bend 3 Lap 2, creating a gap that he goes through and Becker follows Add this to the tight scoreline, possible come back from the Aces and Fricke putting in a captains ride to win the match with his partner in the last race decider... and I'm not really sure what you want from a Speedway match, I can only conclude it's a win at all costs.
  18. EVERYBODY knows this! And they've been trying to polish that particular turd ever since. You have to wonder whether it would have been more cost effective to dig the track up (like they had to do with the NSS) and start again the amount of times it's been altered since.
  19. Just caught up with this... Richard Lawson appearing in heat 1 with a dirty bike and race suit, not really what you expect from a professional Premiership Speedway rider. Ben Cook has had a shocking start to the season. Boughen still looks to be backing off in the first turns, not as blatant as the end of last season but still noticeable he doesn't like to mix it. I'll never understand the mentality of some Speedway riders. Kvech in the same heat surely saw Bomber blasting around the outside to make a pass but still refused to ride any wider than mid track. Great bit of team riding from Jack Holder to shepherd Rowe home for a 5-1. When the riders do their obligatory arm fold in the captions, unless the team sponsors logo is situated on the top of their chest it gets hidden, I noticed this during the CLPC & CLRC, not great for main team sponsorship exposure. Some good track action despite the scoreline.
  20. I've seen some crap at the NSS over the years... if the track is heavy because of rain (in Manchester I know!) the racing is dreadful. I've also been to a lot of daytime meetings and some of those are nothing to write home about. It generally is always a spectacle though mostly because of how close you are to the track, the speed and noise of the place.
  21. Is tomorrow the most anticipated day in Berwick Speedway's history?
