  1. I'm due to phone through my match report to ABC (Australia) Radio at 9.30; gives me time to pour down a couple before I face my public! Always been told I've got a good head for Radio.
  2. You'll enjoy him for sure - don't know if you've seen ; Cam beating Jack Holder at North Brisbane Under-16s 350s earlier this year. Cam and his family came over from Perth for the meeting - that's a four day drive. Hope the hissy fit stops soon.
  3. If it's any consolation, we feel you're a right numpty too, Tomcat.
  4. Why are you seeming to gloat over the toss of a coin? There was no Final, was there?
  5. Must have gone straight there from Heathrow - there's committed for ya! Mum's gone along with him so's he's always got clean undies and he's not harassed by Cougars! Here's hoping you all give him a fair go - he's a good 'un; make no mistake, Cam'll do all his Downunder fans proud.
  6. I just feel a lot of good riders have been deliberately snubbed here, Iris. All the best for Mikkel, but; here's hoping he seizes his chance and surprises us all.
  7. The Team OZ win certainly went down well Downunder - See Link.
  8. Says a lot more about them than it does about Nick.
  9. You're lucky you could hear Brando's interviews - our feed went strangely quiet whenever they crossed to the Pits.
  10. Ah, but the person who posted the attack on Chris Holder has a major problem with anything or anybody remotely Australian, Blazeaway; in fact there's quite a lot of it about - I put it down to personal inadequacies and envy. Well Done Greg - Oldies Rule, OK?
  11. Main Man gave me a lift from Millenium Stadium to Queensway Meadows on the Friday of GP weekend after practice to watch the Mighty HORNETS and that took about 90 minutes; mind you in his defence it was peak hour in Cardiff when we left and they were digging up the M4 at the time.
  12. A couple of interesting developments re the Ozchamps 2012 schedule: Kurri Kurri are planning a combination Grand Ball and presentation night for the Juniors and a Calcutta for the Solos on the evening of the Under 16s 125 Finals on Friday 13th. This will now be a twilight meeting so's the youngsters can get to bed early, and their parents can party on - Yes! Also, the 2012 South Australian Championships will be held at Dutton Raceway, Kapunda on the 22nd January 2012. The meeting is being held on this date to try to attract some the Australia's best international riders who will be in Adelaide for the Grand Final of the Australian 500cc Motorcycle Speedway Championship at Gillman Speedway the previous night, and to provide an attractive option for travelling supporters who will be able to see the best speedway and longtrack meetings in the state on the one weekend. Longtrack Racing is arguably the most spectacular form of Australian dirt track racing due to the high speeds achieved on the tracks which are much longer than the typical speedway circuits. Speeds of 160kmh, or the old 100mph mark, are regularly achieved at Longtrack venues around the world, and the 817 metre dolomite track at Kapunda is capable of producing speeds in excess of this.
  13. Mine arrived at me mate's place in UK - he sent me a photo of it. At first I thought "It's upside-down!" then I remembered - so are you!
  14. After last week's trip to the fence in Sweden we held major worries over Crumpy’s hopes of starting in this weekend’s GP, but those issues have been emphatically laid to rest after he top-scored with 13 points for Rzeszon in their 50-40 win over Tarnow. Go Crumpy!! What price a Holder/Crump Quinella? He's due!
  15. from Rosebank's Bryce Subritzky Stadium, Avondale, in the Land of the Long White Cloud. Some longer-yeared members may recall Bryce, who rode for St Austell Gulls in'53, Liverpool in '60 and the Aces in '60-61.
  16. I'll go the Dingo's breakfast - a Snake's Hiss and a good look round! Off to the Butchers in Cardiff Market for home-made Pork Pies - OOOOOOOOOOH!!
  17. I'll be honest, JC, I can't keep up with some of these Patriality calls; (Maybe I should change my Forum Name to Impatrial One ?) - I'm amazed guys like Dakota, Taylor & Nick haven't been sounded out to ride for GB, like Tai.
  18. Australian Under-21 team: 1 Josh Grajczonek 2 Richard Sweetman 3 Sam Masters 4 Justin Sedgmen 5 Darcy Ward Germany Red Australia Finland White Denmark Yellow. Sedgy must have got the nod by a whisker over Taylor Poole, Dakota North and Nick Morris as they all seem to be travelling better than him at the mo., although a couple of good meetings for the Mighty WASPS will no doubt ensure he's on the pace - GO TEAM OZ!!
  19. I'm sure if BSI/IMG want Darcy in they'll get him in somehow. There was a huge push for him for the first GP.
  20. I think we'll be more likely to see him as a replacement for an injured rider, similar to Davey Watt last season. BSI/IMG definitely want to see him in the GPs, the sooner the better.
  21. Great to see Josh finishing 3rd - QUEENSLANDER!! When's the next round?
  22. Wall-to-wall Crumpet, although the beer's a bit exxy.
