When I bought me programme on Saturday morning they gave me a list with the draw on it, as well as some weird earpiece thingy if I was sad enough to want to listen to the Commentary rather than rely on my eyesight. I still haven't worked out how to get it out of the bag yet.

There's at least two insults to the English language in your post, orion. -

You've got form, mate. I know your MO, and incidentally had it confirmed today by someone associated with the forum. I see your sense-of-umbrage app. is working well. You can throw all the insults you like, cupcake, it's like water off a Reptile's Scales to me! -

It wasn't a civilised debate: it was you and your mates trying to shout down someone who had the temerity to disagree with you. -

Mate I'm on the Duty-free Rare Breed at the mo - just about to start me on-air cross to OZ and the flamin' mobile died on me. Do you know how hard it is to recharge a phone when you're overseas? Three quarters of an hour later I'm back on air! I'll get onto the ABC; do me job and get back to the Walkabout. Oh, and in answer to your question - several. -

That brought a great cheer tonight - goodonya Greg; if an Aussie didn't win I was going for ya. -

Don't go yet George! Don't give up either <personal abuse removed> For what it's worth I was there, unlike these <personal abuse removed> I reckon it should have been all four back in the final: Nicki pushed across Chris forcing him out, which gave Emil nowhere to go - if anyone should have been excluded it should have been Nicki, just like the first stoppage of Heat 20 where he false-started. Of course that's my opinion, -
No Worries Cuz! About to hit town for brekkie - pubs should be open by now.

The Bad Boys Brigade will be at the Walkabout from about lunchtime - or should that be Lunchytime? Very pleasant in there today, but alas Jetlag set in on the way back from the PL Pairs or I'd be there now. Retired to the hotel room to check the duty-free - Wild Turkey Rare Breed, straight up, no ice. I'll sleep well if I can slow down a bit - if you've ever spent twenty-odd hours on long-haul flights you'd understand. Come along and meet a pretty fair sampling of the who's what in Aussie Speedway, if you reckon you can handle it.

I thought youse mob owned it once? Yep, both on the wrong side of the Planet. -
I think it's down to some poor, misguided folks actually BELIEVING what some other poor, misguided folks, who grind axes for a living, write on here. PS Cam's not done bad - 16 pages before he's turned a wheel in anger.

I'll look out for you Cuz - saddened to hear you have to go Begging; I blame the Tories.

Swc Team Australia

Pretty sure they can add to the squad, Henry; they certainly have done the last couple of times I've been over - we went through three riders between Practice and Tapes Up in Leszno, what with Sully pulling out and Shieldsy's Kummagutza, not to mention Rory having to pull out of the squad after his prang at Brandon. Fingers Crossed we'll track a full squad: I think we'll be relying on the Race-off to make the Final but. -
I'm leaving Thursday Arvo; thanks for the compliment.
-
Jason Crump, Chris Holder, Davey Watt, Darcy Ward, Rory Schlein and Troy Batchelor will wear the green and gold for Australia. Go OZ!!
-
Brenton's had the advantage of attending a fair few of Leigh's training schools; could account for his stylishness, d'you reckon? Another young Victorian to watch out for in the coming years is Max Fricke - another mini-Leigh.
-
I didn't know Brenton was over there as well; a good young prospect - and he's from Mildura! He was in our Aussie Solos comp but busted his arm in the first leg at Kurri Kurri: great to hear he's OK. Only a little older than Cam.

Stick it up 'im, PP! Incidentally, I won't comment on the size of any particular member's ego on here: not enough bandwidth. Another example of fitting too many egos in one basket-case. Like all True Speedway Fans we'd like to see UK lads put the 'Great' back in Great Britain again, and in my opinion the best way for them to do this is to race against decent competition. I'm sure having races against the likes of Taylor Poole, Nick Morris and Robert Branford etc has helped UK NL riders no end. Alas there's no desire on the behalf of Brits to do this - witness the lack of entries in the Danish 80cc comp every year, or the Under-21 SWC. Iris 123 would know for sure, but I think Cam's ridden three years running in the Danish Comp - obviously 10,000 miles wasn't too far to travel for the Heep Family. I've always had a soft spot for Norwich as well, ever since I learnt from listening to Bill Oddie et al on I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again that Norwich is in fact an Acronym for "Nickers Off Ready When I Come Home".
-
I'm not too sure about that.
-
Don't think I'll answer that; instead I'll leave it up to my fellow Forum members to decide. Considering he's never ridden Senior Speedway you seem to have a pretty high opinion of him. Presumably you've seen him in action to be making such a statement - I didn't get the chance to meet you on your visit Downunder; did you see him at the Danish 80cc meetings? Can't follow your logic here; I thought everything had been announced way in advance of him heading over; the only thing that's been holding him back has been bureaucratic delays from the British Passport Office.
-
If FIM want the final in Russia they're gonna hafta ante up some travel dollar$ - it's the Under-21s FFS, they're on a shoestring as it is.
-
Has he ridden enough meetings for an average yet - or will he be another Bees 11-meeting special? Good point. Bomber's as tough as. Will Mr Staechman be putting someone's toys back in the pram for him tonight? Well done to Tomek tonight; early days yet, but, and it's the Aussie-friendly Millenium coming up!

She looks a healthy heifer; I'm sure she'll provide enjoyment to everyone who likes to get there early. (I'll be in the Walkabout.) -
Word I got was that he's busy trying to sort everything out so he can get down to some racing; he's enjoying being over there and he's staying with some very helpful people.
