Thomas will entertain you frustrate you and please you normally all at once but must say he was great value at scunny wether he was scoring loads or not many always tries his best

Really enjoyed that meeting the track was so much better than against Sheffield think it's going to be a good season not sure on play offs or league position but entertainment is going to be top notch

Im with tony nobody remembers the league cup I see these meetings as track time for the team, even more so when you loose your first two, would suggest manager was thinking the same when giving Perks all his rides

Thought the score could of been closer if Howe hadn't stopped whilst second also lunna stopped while second think though it was about right . Nike will only get better for us and think bellego is in for a massive season looked very good

Slick and dusty = prosesional and boring , damp dark nights under the lights auty Douglas and wilkinson out by the fence bring it on can't wait for the season to start

With loads of weak teams in the league will we have the same outcry as with we did with scunthope or because of the points limit will the criticism not be forth coming

June you know me well enough and I always go hoping we will win but if we don't then never mind as long as the entertainment is high I'm satisfied. Results wise back in the day the scores were massive but in my opinion the racing wasn't as good still watch the video of Mr Dennis coming from behind to get us the 65 15 win over Newport good ride but not outstanding it lives in the memory for what it achieved rather than the quality of the race and most meeting were like that. Just my opinion

I love last heat deciders regardless of the result, problem as I see it is to many scunny fans yearn for the days of 06/07 when we murdered everyone at home but in fairness the racing was over 90% of the time by the first corner then it was mainly about the scunny riders playing about with each other. Prefer it as it is now when the opposition are racing as well

Would suggest this team has not been built on a budget more likely built to give Sheffield a chance of winning spinny thus improving our crowds with your visiting support . Still won't happen though

Well the expected criticism has started I would say let's see what the season brings. Only reason i go to speedway is to be entertained and in that team the top five are all good value round the Ewr and Nike is meant to be a round the boards type so can see plenty of action to warm you even on the coldest evening. If I go home having been entertained the result to me is the last thing I think about.

I think we could end up with a rider who ain't been mentioned by anyone yet I reckon Perks is a must on three points and would love to see wilko at reserve partnering him and helping him out like he did Matt last year for his first race win. My last guess Howe, Auty, Douglas, Nicker, Perks, Wilko and another There's plenty left that fit leaving Wilko at reserve and just as many who could fill the last spot pushing him into the main body thus leaving points spare if we need to make a change early on.
