BSPA hoping the sale of Sheffield and ipswich will be sorted quickly. Each team play each other 3x, top team straight through to final, 2nd and 3rd play off. People might not like a 5 team league but I think thats what is going to happen.

I don't know if Brian Connolly is on the BSPA payroll or just an enthusiast but he seems to be working on all the ongoing battles. Interesting listen

Maybe Chris Louis wanted 1 big league, 'Some things no longer align for me', which he would force the BSPA into if he didn't actually sell the club and left them hanging.

I always said there would be 2 at Belle vue to make it pay. When they cancelled Cardiff they were very dishonest, it was always going to be 2 at Belle vue, Cardiff was only on the calender to maintain sponsors.

First it was 2 leagues and then 1, it will eventually just be Poland. British speedway needs to increase the number of active riders i.e reduce the standard of all leagues encouraging more amateurs into the sport at National league level. In the long run it would be good for british speedway, weekend speedway would be back and all the riders would be commited ( no dodgy injuries and Guests).
