Yes he would fit regardless of whether he gets a further reduction.

I am not sure quite how the team will start out but in May I think it will look like.... 1 Pickering 2 Harrison 3 MPT 4 Mountain 5 Voulas/Worral 6 Lambert/Declan/Abblit 7 Ingram.
-
So the rumoured team is....... 1. Josh Pickering 11.46 2. Luke Harrison 4.97 3. Abblit 4.91 4.Connor Mountain 5.96 5. M. P. Toft 6.1 6. S. Lambert 4.48 7. Ryan Ingram 2.00 Total 39.88 Pickering's last Championship average was 9.42, Scunny will have a further 2 points to play with on the 1st of May, they will need to make a ruthless change early if they are going to be competitive.

Another early finish for some teams, only 11 guaranteed fixtures.

Superstars disappearing, whose next?
eric i replied to Youhave2minutes's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Most top riders will go in 2027 because Poland is introducing the rule, 'a rider can ride in 1 league other than Poland'. In the future it will probably be just Poland. -
Apparently he will revert to his old Championship average, not sure why the rules are like this.
-
Apparently his average drops to 9ish on 1st May

Nice work, it would be good if you could take this further and cover all active speedway tracks in Europe. If someone could get this thread pinned for easy access. -
What will 2026 UK speedway bring?
eric i replied to Lionsman66's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
BSPA hoping the sale of Sheffield and ipswich will be sorted quickly. Each team play each other 3x, top team straight through to final, 2nd and 3rd play off. People might not like a 5 team league but I think thats what is going to happen. -

I don't know if Brian Connolly is on the BSPA payroll or just an enthusiast but he seems to be working on all the ongoing battles. Interesting listen -

If the sale of Ipswich and sheffield are not completed by the AGM in January I can see a real possibility of one big league. It would mean 5 man teams. -

Maybe Chris Louis wanted 1 big league, 'Some things no longer align for me', which he would force the BSPA into if he didn't actually sell the club and left them hanging.
-
What was Chris Louis hoping for? he wanted a premiership but you can't force a team up so what did he want the BSPA to do?

Has Steve Worral changed his mind on retirement? I find it strange there hasn't been any annoncement other than at club house at the end of last year.

Confirmed in speedway star that Jake is going elsewhere. David howe also said there will be 'some new faces, some returning faces and some familiar faces'. 'Familiar faces' must be MPT. Nathan Ablitt said he is looking for a club so I am not sure hes in the plans.
