Gilkes surely won't ride for a Saturday club if he has signed in Poland.
-
I am pleased with the team, Howarth is decent round the EWR and will do a job at number 1, as long as people don't compare him to Douglas. Top 5 looks solid but I don't see huge potential for improvement, whether Scunny can challenge for silverware will depend on how well the reserves progress.
-
Surely the rounding up comes after 2.5% is deducted, i.e round up 2.925 so it will be 2.93. Gilkes and MPT next week.

'would be very happy to open talks over the ownership at an appropriate time' Chapman has been adamant that speedway is finished at showground but he is happy for the enthusiastic consortium to put the work in to try and save it. If they are successful, Chapman can get a load more money for the sale of the club. The complete lack of effort by Chapman to save the club himself and then says things like 'All we want is for the club to return to racing', is shameful.

Anyone know where Thomas Jorgensen is having his testimonial? -
I think your right, I can't see Gilkes wanting to ride for Workington or Berwick as he has a polish team.
-
I can't see Jake's average climbing that much, he has been at about the same level for a few years now.
-
This seems like a random draw.....whats going on?
-
Josh Auty?
-
Looks like its going to be... 1 Kyle Howarth 2.Connor.Mountain 3.Simon Lambet 4.Jake Allen 5.Thomas Jorgensen 6.Nathen Abblit 7.Luke Harrison
-
Did he fully get over his brain injury?
-
Any idea when the verdict will be made?
-
I didn't see any new rules from the AGM to prevent riders of Tarasenko's ability entering the Championship on a 5 point average.
-
I think Paul Starke is worth a go on a 4.00 average. He had bad season last year but his average is based on him riding in the main body on a track he didn't seem to get on with. Every year previously he has been a dependable 5 or 6 point second string, is he really in decline at 33 years of age?
-
I think Scunny might be going a bit top heavy this year......... S.worral 7.84 k.Howarth 7.76 J.Allen 7.16 S.Lambet 5.87 Z. Kennedy 4.27 N.Ablett 2.93 L.Harrison 2.00 total 37.83

Where is it going? bend 3/4.
-
I think your right, it doesn't make any sense why is he holding onto a club he considers to finished/value less. He has stripped the assets (fence and lights) so the sale should be really straight forward unless of course he has taken the brown envelope.
-
Thomas Jorgensen is having a testimonial next year, could that be a sign he is returning to his spiritual home? Rumours suggest he is not in the Berwick team, although his testimonial could be at Lynn.

This is crazy running 3 leagues, fans will only pay to watch so much speedway.

Confirmed Round 1 Croatia 27th April. -
9 months from september 5th so Worral will be signing for someone on june 5th?
-
tapes, fence and a bit of shale....maybe the lights, Not hard to price up. However if Chapman has changed his mind and is no longer adamant that the speedway is finished then it becomes lot trickier.
-
My point being, it shouldn't be difficult to price.
