  1. Newcastle again in the KOC, how many years is that? 2 home and 3 away, I think just enough for Holub to get his new average.
  2. Polish fixtures seem to start early this year, Nicolai klindt's team Częstochowa rides on Monday 28th of March and then every Sunday after that. Not sure how that's going to work out for scunny, are we just hoping he doesn't get called up to his polish team?
  3. what is public transport like in Poland, how is it using the trains and buses?
  4. If one of the 3 pointers turns out to be the next tai woffinden and averages say 8 then gets injured before the playoffs, he will have to be replaced by a 3 pointer. That's going to be a kick in the teeth for his team.
  5. If its still 4 home and away meetings to achieve a new average Zdenek will need to do 2 more home meetings and 3 away so NK might only be in the team for two weeks. Not sure how far Zdenek's average will drop as a guess I would say it will be between 5 and 6. If its nearer 6 we might see a return of Andreas Lyager.
  6. Lakeside picked Lewis Blackbird as one of their draft riders, so they must think there is a good chance he will be coming out of retirement.
  7. Any suggests for a replacement, 6.23 to play with. Rasmus Jensen 5.92 maybe.
  8. Two of those four. I hope Russia have their best riders but I doubt it, I don't think the Russian federation pay the riders enough.
  9. The elite league is getting weaker but the premier league is also getting stronger. Not many riders have left the PL and moved up to EL on a permanent basis, whereas quite a few established EL riders have doubled down. As long as we continue to have so many riders doubling up and down I think the gap will continue to close.
  10. Do aussies still have to achieve a 7 point average to get a visa? Do American's come in on a 5 as well?
  11. Sort out gate 4 bias. Maybe some more terracing/grass banking to improve spectator viewing and reduce the chance of a face full of shale. It would be good if someone official was filming, even if it was a man with a mobile phone it could help with incidents like we saw against Ipswich. I did enjoy the increased number of rider interviews this year and when the riders walk into the crowd after a great win. The fact you can go up to the riders and talk to them is what sets speedway apart from most sports.
  12. I am amazed he has gone on a full transfer, I hope they paid a lot.
  13. According to this http://www.scunthorpetelegraph.co.uk/Scunthorpe-Scorpions-Taylor-Poole-chances-qualify/story-28249184-detail/story.html he can take part in all 6 championships. If this is true the qualification for a visa is really quite easy.
  14. Devils signed Ellis Perks, what about Somerset?
  15. Plymouth have signed Perks so James Shanes might be Scunny bound. I guess Oliver Greenwood will go to Somerset and Zak Wajknecht will go to Edinburgh.
  16. Have Swindon got use of their current stadium until the new one is built?
  17. What are the rules regarding the replacement of injured 3 point reserves? I assume mid way through the season if a team has spare points to pay with they can't replace the 3 point reserve with a rider of a higher average. If the 3 point reserve achieves a greensheet average of say 4.5, can he be replaced by any rider under his average.
  18. Its true the UK is not in the picture if you look at average attendances, however the UK has twice as many fixtures as the foreign leagues. I doubt it would look quite so bad if it was the other way round.
  19. Danny Ayres fits the bill, I think he was meant to be in the Stags team in 2014 but for some reason never rode.
  20. Looks like M.P.Toft has signed for Peterborough and klindt doing polish league, my guess is Lanham will be the 6th rider 1.Auty 2.Lanham 3.Davies 4.Holub 5.Douglas 6.Wilko 7. 3 pointer
  21. What are the rules regarding the number 7 eligibility.
