I think there was a suggestion a chain guard was missing during one of his races so he should have been excluded not that he put illegal parts on

This shows they they do do random tests and are not just picking on Darcy as some seem to be claiming. This was Nicki's result from SWC meeting. Not the only time he has posted this sort of thing either this year https://twitter.com/nickipedersenDK/status/495600241249615872/photo/1 Can see why they don't test everyone as it can't take very long. I remember years ago doing the Sysdney Harbour bridge climb and the first thing they did was breathalyze everyone. If you failed you weren't allowed on. On this you are tethered to the bridge and so fairly difficult to fall unlike charging around quickly on a small track at high speed.

Report on Sportowe Fakty suggesting an agreement on participation of GP riders in SEC has been agreed. Based on translation no prohibition on SGP riders in SEC but SEC can't choice a SGP rider as permanent wild card. SEC top 5 qualify for SEC next year rather than 3 and permanent wild cards reduced from 5 to 3. Hopefully this will stop the silly arguing

Emil Sayfutdinov 2015
severnsider replied to OveFundinFan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
It is said to be an end of season thing. Suggestion was a budget of around 8m zloty for next year which is way below the current budget so could be pay cuts compared to this year. Also said on sportowe fakty yesterday that current owner will pay for any claims from the final walkout last year, as there is still a ZG claim, and pay off any multi year contracts for people the new owner doesn't want to keep. -

Even though he wasn't in qualifiers he could still be in Lonigo as one of the wild cards I suppose -

Will the track be an unusual shape? As mentioned it is primarily for Aussie Rules, and has been used for cricket and Rugby, so it is circular shape rather than oblong. -

I thought Holder should be riding for Piraterna. He was part of their side for 2013 and 2014 and only rode for Poole as cover when Darcy was injured -
They were showing the wrong advert as they showed the one for this year which had highlights of the 2013 meeting.

Enjoyable meeting in Togliatti. Not seen the TV coverage yet but after reading a few things on here it is interesting compared to being in the stadium. The stadium last year looked full but there were a reasonable number of seats empty on the 1st/2nd bend and likewise on the 3rd bend at the start. Also a large number of fans, possible around a quarter or a third, had left as the the meeting was still going on so large empty areas by the final and virtually empty by the presentation. This I assume was due to the late start time 8pm, which meant meeting didn't end to 11pm on Sunday night. This was a pity as the racing was an improvement on the meeting last year if my memory serves me right. The track grading sometimes cause problems. In the grading between heats 12 and 13 they had a big pile in the middle of the track going into turn one and on the straight just before the start line. Originally a guy was moving by hand before the tractors returned leading to a bit of a delay. Again a lump was left on the track after heat 16 which seemed to cause Smolinski to crash in heat 17. Luckily he and Davidsson seem ok and Jonas got great support when pushing his bike around for a point. Was expecting a huge crash at some point cause problem in third and fourth bend where a lot of riders lifted or straightened but luckily this didn't happen. I assume the rain following the dry weather in the day helped cause both of those problems The stadium announcer did a fantastic job of encouraging the crowd. Not the easiest place for tourist due to alphabet & not used to having tourists but people were friendly enough. The guide we had was excellent Driving and health and safety (or lack of) is sometimes very scary -
Incidentally, thought the led advertising strips along the front of the stands, which were also used for meeting info, were terrific. First saw them at the Friends Arena in Stockholm last year. Only the second time they have been operational at the Millennium. Agreed really liked the banner strips along the first level. As well as winners did the two minutes as well. Maybe in future it would be possible to show the two minute countdown and/or to show race times also, but was very good as was the spirals in the opening sequence. As always fireworks were amazing

But the other two are on permanent tracks not temporary so would be more like proposed Belle Vue
