  1. Track seemed fine to me (a complete Neutral) Belle Vue boys handled it just fine. Holder as skipper should have dealt with it a lot better.
  2. Sorry I just cannot see how dropping Tai gains greater credibility for British Speedway. All it would is emphasize is that many top riders don't want to ride in the UK. Also Tai was riding - and riding well long before he was a Monster sponsored rider. Anyway we'll agree to disagree mate.
  3. But what is the upside to not having him in the team? We are underdogs anyway, without him we have, in Kenny Carter's words, noooo chance. Wouldn't help get the punters in. A big crowd will be good for Belle Vue and British speedway.
  4. Please explain why. And I'm not trying to be awkward it's a genuine question bud. As I cannot see one bit of good that comes out of dropping not only our best rider but the best rider in the world from our team.
  5. So when Footballers leave and play abroad they shouldnt be picked for the National squad? We also tried that at the last Rugby World Cup. That worked out well didnt it...
  6. I still don't see what Tai has done wrong other than have an Aussie accent. Has ridden his Nuts off every time he has represented GB. He did a ridiculous amount to promotion for the Sport in the UK when he won his first World Championship and he got naff all for it. How anyone here can blame him for not wanting to participate in what is quite literally a third rate league is beyond me. Are people here going to say they wouldnt leave the country for a better job through loyalty?
  7. Well I respect your opinion but from a conversation I had directly with Laguta, the article in which he stated he was envious he didn't ride last Saturday, Vaculik saying he's desperate to get back into the GPs and Emil's manager messaging Phil Rising saying he wants to ride in the world cup, I think there's a chance you might be incorrect with that statement...
  8. 3 of his starts he was 10/15 yards behind as they reached the first bend. Certainly didnt help his cause..
  9. I do hope you're correct. And that's not because I prefer BSI over OneSport or Vice Versa, I just want all the best riders in one competition.
  10. I agree he sometimes makes bad decisions in the corners too. But it's not a case of outright speed is all I'm saying.
  11. Watching Harris on Saturday, he was actually quick, his last race in particular kept a very fast Janowski behind him. It's just his starting is so bad. He's literally giving the other riders 10 yards at the start every heat.
  12. I hear what you are saying but I think actually getting the visa sorted out and more importantly having experienced that crowd on Saturday and Sunday, they will want to be more involved now.
  13. I'm sure I was trumped by people who headed to Melbourne last year. Perfect record at Cardiff so far tho , hoping it long continues!
  14. Good article from Grigorii Laguta regarding the the Russians and the SWC. I for one think it will make it a much better competition with a full strength Russian team in it. And hopefully step one in the 2 Laguta's and Emil trying to get into the SGP's...
  15. Looking at that video, seems like the Stadium is a bit of a bombsite at the moment. Glad they are making improvements all over tho.
  16. Track last year at Cardiff was good Phil so no need to worry!
  17. On a lighter note what a cracking GP! probably the best atmosphere I've ever experienced at Speedway. Pains me to say that as I love Cardiff so much but it really was something else. And hats off to the locals, whole stadium stayed for the presentation even tho no Polish rider.
  18. Getting back to the topic.. I went to Warsaw at the weekend and it was as good as Speedway has ever been.
  19. Any YouTube (or any website) link for a recording of this meeting?
