but you said greg hit the fence as nicki left him nowhere to go . I cant see how he managed to do that since he actually passed greg on the inside and unless he actually contacted greg how did he manage to move him to the fence . greg was on his chosen path and nicki passed him . and this Is not a sexual abuse case , so historic evidence has no place here -

Exactly where I'd be today If I had done what he did, I would think Sympathy Is his only hope of mitigation , since the crime was committed in public and is now being debated by millions on social media .. -

Nicki was the one doing the passing !!!. so where have you had the idea that Hancock tried to pass between him and the fence , did you see Nicki make contact and push him into the fence ? -

and for a notorious mardy arse , how he managed to keep his temper under control when Morris rammed into him deliberately . there's a few riders who take the knocks and get on with it . harris must be a saint of some sort because in 2010 he got Knocked off 3 times by Holder trying to pass him on the centre green -

Was there a second incident that I have not been able to find ?. The only one I have seen Nicki Pedersen goes right out to mid track turns hard towards the kerb and as he passes Hancock he's going as straight as an Arrow . have you got any links to where I can see him taking the rider wide please ? -
No relation to reality either ,

By jove I think I've got it . remove spark plug , fill engine with rice crispies , suck out rice crispies with a Dyson and put them in a measuring jug ,, job done
-
definitely not pushing him too far . people who are of advancing years as TWK is . need to keep their brain active . and I'm sure reading through these last few posts sorting out the fact from fantasy , and practical from humor will do just that so rather than confusing him we are doing him a favour

do you know what RD , i hadn't thought of that... Bugger !! bit like you not thinking about the exhaust valves still being open for one third of the pistons ascendance so the air would go out of there instead of inflating a balloon , or the fact that any air that went into the balloon would need to compress to create the pressure to inflate the balloon, maybe better to scrap the Ant idea anyway because there would no doubt be problem with animal cruelty . perhaps just stick to the tried and tested way ( and In my highly unqualified opinion ) only way of measuring, by removing the head and measuring the bore and stroke . but please do post some more suggestions because I am enjoying reading them , a lot more than watching a 2 Ronnies sketch

To find out what ? if the engine might be somewhere within 25 CC of the allowed 500 .? I have heard of a much simpler method and equally as accurate as your suggestions , simply get a factory measured ant that Is 1 cc then remove the plug . count out 501 ants and if they all manage to walk in through the spark plug hole ,hey presto " you got em" oversize engine . just put a damp sugar lump on the top fin and they will all walk out again no damage to the engine and no expensive rebuilds . just the cost of an official Briggo sugar lump
-
What are you saying thanks for ?, he just quoted you a complete load of nonsense . no one would be daft enough to fill an engine with water for a start , and even if they did , it would give completely innacurate measurement .. there is only 1 way to accurately measure an engines capacity , and that is to remove the head and measure the bore and stroke . If you believe someone is using an oversize engine , you have to pay £150 protest fee to have it checked . the engine will then be sealed by the machine examiners and the rider has a limited time to present it fortesting , it will have the head removed and bore and stroke measured , also occasionally a random engine will be chosen for measurement . same thing seals are applied and the engine taken for testing , not filled up with water and tipped upside down to empty it !!!!! , taken apart and measured . if the engine is not oversize the rider is compensated £80 to cover the cost of a rebuild .. no water is used whatsoever during this measuring process , and only someone with virtually no mechanical knowledge ,but who think they have,, would suggest it something like that , long stroke conrod short stroke piston , but you nee extra gaskets to make the extra length up or the piston hits the head , so effectively you have created an overbored long stroke
-
Nope . no you havent . because the volume of the cylinder head has nothing to do with actual swept volume ,, the on ly way to check is to remove the head and measure the bore and stroke ..
-
This is why we never get anywhere with costs . of course it's not up to the riders you fool . once one rider sponsored by a tuner ,turns up with a modified Gerhard , then all the others will have to spend money to keep up . and the whole cost cutting exercise is out the window .. Durrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
-
must be something special when the worlds worst gater can make good starts on it ..
-
please please please . keep the tuners snitches out of this engine , massive chance here to cut costs and no doubt whatsoever they are wondering how they will fill their greedy wallets if everyone switches to an engine with long service intervals

I went up to florence once , and asked for a cheesburger , she said do you want Coke with that ? , I said no thanks Ill have Tea please , she poured my tea and I reached in to get a little packet off the counter . she slapped my hand and said the sugar is out there on the table !!!

The media like to make out that speedway is frequented by Hells Angels , whats the betting for the purpose of drama we get drugs in a Family sport ...lol

That's not too far out if what I'm guessing is correct . stadium catering lady is closer !

everyime its one of the women , controversy .. the worst of all the women, and from personal experience Vardy by a long shot ,

that is true , but the lower compression needed to b urn it and the fact that it is 1/3 rd less powerful than methanol leads to far less stress on the bottom end , of course another downside to petrol is the heat it generates . Im not sure theres enough air round the engine to cool it , especailly when you consider out of each 5 minutes the engine runs it's only rushing theorugh the air for one of them

Sweden and Denmark , run along on sponsorship , their government rules favour sponsorship much more than ours do . an average "service" on an engine after 30 races you will not see change from £450 , add to that a tyre at £40 . oil £8.50 per litre ( 500ml last 4 races) gallon of methanol ( £7 ) travel expenses , I assume airflights will be included in the cost of employing foreign riders , Could well be the reason Aussies are so popular with promoters because they live here , all makes for a very expensive rider bill at the end of the evening . I believe the home promoter has to pay the away teams points money as well .
