  2. He hasn't retired. At the moment he's doing grasstrack / longtrack.
  3. Do I take it Tom is able to commit to a Tuesday night? It had been announced pre season he had signed for the King's Lynn Young Stars, and then he pulled out as he was unable to commit due to work commitments during the week.
  4. How long before the new averages come out and Adam Ellis moves into the main body of the team?
  5. Hope it's a good crowd for the first meeting, and an enjoyable meeting for all. Will look at the updates of the Kent meetings with interest.
  6. Jake isn't a full-time Isle of Wight rider, at least yet, he was guesting in place of the injured Byron Bekker. Whether he will be signed, I couldn't say.
  7. I didn't buy a programme at the EL meeting last night, but I recall the USA line-up has 2 British Boys in for this meeting, Ben Morley and Scott Campos, and I know they have Rocco and Gino, and three American teenagers whose names I shamefully cannot remember! Bit sad I have to miss the first Young Stars meeting as I'm going away for the long weekend... never mind, hope it's a good, safe meeting for everyone that goes. They did announce on Wednesday a free programme tomorrow night... I cannot recall if this was on presentation of the EL ticket, or in general, though!
  8. If you'd added 'and flip flops', you'd have sounded just like my boyfriend.
  9. Danny Warwick Racing - trying to save for a new engine, any donations appreciated via http://www.gofundme.com/2il184 - if you can spare anything, many thanks!

  10. Well, I have no idea about Dudley, but I've done the survey anyways.
  11. never understands the off season with people saying a completed line-up is a winning team. How can you possibly know how strong that team is, until a) you see the competition and B) you see how well the team work together and if they hit form?

  12. c/o the Official Isle of Wight Speedway website: With council approval having been obtained, speedway meetings at Smallbrook in 2013 will get underway half an hour earlier than previously, the first race now coming to the tapes at 7pm. Further details and more news to follow.... More info on the BSPA: http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.18535
  13. I see Dale Allitt has posted on facebook, first signing to be announced Thursday. Also a few events being lined up such as a race night and a quiz night to raise funds (think Dale is looking for helpers too for these). Look forward to seeing who we've signed.
  14. I thought as it stands at the moment, Mildenhall v Stoke was still at Mildenhall?
  15. I was stood in the area looking down on the pits and none of us saw Stefan get punched, just saw the scuffles... Didn't hear anything about it afterward either though I'm sure there are others on here who could clarify that.
  16. Should be going to this now it's at King's Lynn - can't really say no to an extra meeting at my nearest track. Hope all Mildenhall fans can be reached or hear the news, and most can still make it. Now... who to support, that is the question
  17. http://www.stokepotters.co/news.php?extend.449: ISLE OF WIGHT FIXTURE REARRANGED Monday 15 October 2012 STOKE Easy Rider Potters have confirmed that their National Trophy meeting against the Isle of Wight has been rearranged for Sunday 28th October with a 3pm start. Saturday’s meeting against the Islanders was postponed due to the condition of the Loomer Road circuit in the wake of heavy rain in the previous days and left promoter Dave Tattum with no alternative but to call off the meeting.
  18. Updates will be available on the Speedway Updates forum I expect, the Isle of Wight section is http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Isle. A thread will probably be started for it tomorrow.
  19. I can't quite see that happening... it'd be nice, but I fear it will be a Mildenhall Dudley final. *sad face*
  20. It's always seemed ridiculous to me. I'm sure it can't be allowed for that reason.
