Does anyone know when the riding order for the Final will be announced? And does anyone know who is race commentating on the Final, is it Pearson or Millard? Cheers.

It was a CLASSIC!!! Fair play to Poole for producing a fantastic racing track and fair play to all the riders for going for broke and providing a superb meeting. Lets hope the Final is similarly exciting.

Adder, We'd be interested to read your alternative solution. I was merely asking if there was a plan in case of rain-offs this week, and what happens if a meeting gets abandoned before it is completed due to the weather. Nobody seems to know the answer with the only posting attempting to give an answer being the one above which was lifted straight from the rule-book. If you could therefore clarify the situation regarding this weeks events then I would be most grateful! Tis a good job tonights meeting isn't in Swindon, it has just started emptying it down. And its not even a Thursday!!

On other matters, does anyone know what the rules are regarding rain-offs during the SWC? And on partially completed meetings (eg how many heats have to be run before a result can be declared?). Given the expected thunderstorms this week tis best to get this sorted out before having a bet in case there are some daft rules in play!

I draw the line at Buckie - you must have been in Coatbridge! Ye canna whack a square sausage 'sarni' (as you call it!) as long as its on guid scottish plain bread! When I lived in B'ham we used to get square sausage, barrs irn bru and haggis slices 'exported' to us! I can heartily recommend the square sausage served up as part of our cooked breakfast in the cafe outside Bathgate railway station on Swindon's northern tour last year.

The Speedway World Cup would create more interest if it was held every 4 years as in football, cricket and eggchasing. Having it every year waters down its importance.

Anyone know if William Hill are honouring bets laid last Saturday for the restaging or do I have to get a refund and bet again?

Seriously the Hot Dogs seem to have been the cause of many an explosion of rusty water. They ran out of Cider halfway through the meeting as well. Shocking!
