  1. I've just received an e-mail from e-ticket.pl saying that my reservation is confirmed and the ticket will be to collect between 2:30 and 6:45 pm. So I guess the meeting starts at 7 pm, as we expected
  2. I know this price is ridiculous but no one forces you to sit there. You have a choice and even if you don't want to cope with the massive crowd at the backstraight you can get your ticket for a numbered seat on the first bend for 170 zl. Sorry, but the organizers don't care if that's too much for you or not. If they have a demand higher than the amount of seats it's obvious they'll raise the price to maximum. As for rip-off's, isn't £15 for a ticket for a boring BEL match a robbery? Don't worry. I don't know what they've thought up this time but we'll walk this round anyway. Will e-mail them later and try to sort this out. I guess there might be some kind of misunderstanding between the organizers and the e-ticket.pl and there will be a booth to collect the tickets earlier.
  3. I'm going to the seaside this Sunday so Polish speedway authorities decided to run this league round on Friday, not Sunday as usual Czestochowa - Tarnow (19.00 cet) Bydgoszcz - Wroclaw (19.00) Zielona Gora - Leszno (20.00, live on PolsatSport) Rzeszow - Torun (19.30) All of you who have PolsatSport you can't miss this Friday's match. It's ZG v Leszno so their local derby. ZG are fanatics so it's gonna be a great show made both by the riders and by the fans For this match they've raised prices over there to 40 zl for a normal ticket which is A LOT as for Polish standards. No doubts the stadium will be overcrowded tho' Anyway, go Leszno!!
  4. The mainstand is mostly occupied by FIM, BSI etc. people, local authorities, sponsors, riders' crews etc. There are usually not many seats left then but there's a sufficient demand for them so the price has to be high. Just economics Tickets for the sector A (numbered seats) already on sale through www.e-ticket.pl.
  5. Yeah, especially down in the pits.. But actually we have there some fantastic views too
  6. I'm proud of our Russian master Sajfutdinov and absolutely disappointed with Buczkowski and Jedrzejewski's performance.. Anyway, going to Ostrow for Emil is worthwhile
  7. Fingers crossed for 3 Bydgoszcz boys - Emil, Buczek and Marcin. All should get through which would mean lots excitement in the final at Ostrow
  8. The new date set for the Tarnow v ZG match is Wednesday 27th June, 7 pm.
  9. In two weeks at this time I'll be having my pre Cardiff drinks in Rico's villa
  10. I'm not an expert when it comes to league regulations and I'm not sure what rule the ref used changing the result to 5-0 but from your description I guess he excluded that rider from the whole meeting so his points scored in the heat 1 were cancelled. Anyway, it's definitely not a common occurence in Polish leagues. Well, this semi does figure in all fixture lists so it must happen As for the hour, such things are not announced in Poland too early. They don't have lights so expect the start time about 4 - 6 pm.
  11. Some Derby pics and vids made by me and guys from Bydgoszcz RadioGra website: Pictures (RadioGra) Pictures (GazetaWyborcza) Videos (RadioGra) - Heat 1 - Heat 5 crash - Heat 13 - Riots in the Torun sectors (me) - Under a big club logo - Heat 1 - Riots in the Torun sectors 1, 2
  12. Of course it was offending or embarrasing, especially during the Swedish anthem. But to be honest, we Poles are not much better in such situations so I resigned from writing any comments on Danish fans this time... I've got so used to britishness at speedway (another big dose of this yesterday at the Derby match ) that sometimes it just doesn't move me at all. PS. Just read your location - was in Aarhus when I was 5 ('92)! - my first trip abroad
  13. 'cause no one really cared about all those Danes booing!
  14. It was a day of crashes. First Gollob and Holta at that airport near Tarnow, then Zabik, Miedzinski, Klecha at the Bydgoszcz track and in the meanwhile Robert Kubica in Montreal... Thankfully they are all "fine".
  15. "You don't judge the winners", they say...
  16. 58-34... Torun down on their knees! But actually it was Bydgoszcz v R.Sullivan. The guy scored 21 (max) and saved the bonus point for his team (60-32 in the first match). A horrible crash in heat 5. Probably the worst one I've ever seen. Klecha, Zabik and Miedzinski had their bikes caught on and crashed against the air fence on the full throttle! They all bumped up very high, Zabik flew over the fence. All three bikes were totally destroyed, the same as the air fence on the whole first bend. It looked unbelievably dramatically. Thankfully they are all fine, just seriously bruised and in shock. At the press conference Ryan said that the air fence saved their lives.
  17. Have just uploaded some nice pics from last night
  18. Today's live updates: Ekstraliga starting at 7 pm cet Division 1 starting at 5 pm cet - - - - - - Update: Tarnow v ZG has been cancelled due to Gollob and Holta's airplane crash.
  19. Congrats Rico, never believed you could gain anything in this game tbh As far as I remember, earlier this year I put my bets twice on AJ and Gollob at once.. Bad luck!
  20. Gollob says many things on media, contradicting himself quite often. Get used to this I heard so many rumours in recent years that now I usually don't care about such pieces of news at all.
  21. I enjoyed this GP a lot. IMHO the best one so far this year. A surprisingly well prepared track so some good action in a few heats. Enjoyable start girls too. Well done Andreas and Tomek! Hopefully Cardiff will be as good as this, or even better! Can't wait now! PS. Does anyone know how Zagar is? I've been wondering if he's gonna ride in the Bydgoszcz v Torun match tomorrow...
  22. At last Hopefully he'll rock tomorrow in the league too!
