To prevent sudden large changes in CL averages the Rolling Average matches reduces gradually (to 20) during this season. Last season's Green Sheets were based on up to 36 matches. To drop to 20 immediately would have wiped out almost half a season's stats. May's RA is based on 30 matches and the figure will reduce by 2 matches each month.

Kennett's injury was sustained at the Swingfield European Grasstrack semi-final yesterday. (Sunday). He didn't fall, but from where I was standing (3rd-4th bend) it looked like he jarred his left leg on turns 1-2. He rode outside the circuit towards the 3rd bend in obvious agony, and fell off his m/c just before the pits.
