And the 'Money' team would have 2 x 12 + 2 x 7.99 + 2 x 5.99 = 51.96
The 'just keeping afloat' team would have 2 x 8 + 2 x 6 + 2 x 3 = 34.00
Been tried before and it doesn't work.
Shame that there is no GB reserve. It would have been an ideal opportunity to give someone like Dan Bewley a go.
Watched him yesterday at Leicester. He was a class above the rest of the field.
Nothing more to add really. Sub Total of Programmed Rides only + Bonus Points.
Anyone from Top 3 on CMA or top 3 (I think) on meeting scores is eligible for Heat 15.
Two nights (Friday & Saturday), single bed en-suite room. £52.02 total.
10 minutes walk from the Stadium.
Absolute bargain.
Get first dibs on rooms for next year too, once prices are decided!
University accommodation.
I think you may be wrong in that.
A team may have done 5 (or more) at Home before they reach the 4 Away figure.
In that case all 5H (or more) + 4A will count towards his new 'official' average.
Agreed!
The new inside line on turns 1-2 certainly saw riders make up a lot of ground. Particularly smart move from Bates to be the first to suss that out.
Your original assumption is correct.
Two Groups of 4 = 12 Heats
Winner A v 2nd B
Winner B v 2nd A
S/F Winners to Final.
4,3,2,0. Scoring in all heats.
15 Races in all.
I doubt if most riders will have a 'proper' average by April.
Some teams will be lucky to have completed 4H & 4A by the end of May. And those that have may still have a rider or two that have not completed 4H & 4A due to injury/Poland/DU.
Then what happens?
Bring back Durno and his elastic band! Nobody ever tries to jump the start when there is a spanner on the end of the elastic. (And I don't mean the person holding the elastic...Honest!)
