For to long now many on here have accused the BSPA of not sticking to their rules, like it or not with this case as well as the Nicholls/Kennett case the BSPA have enforced their rules, so I applaud them for doing so.
-
So I take we are no nearer hearing an announcement on venues, dates etc, never mind the rules of the competition. It does seem whoever decided to move away from the SWC that was reasonably successful is making this up as they go along, why fix something that wasn't broken.
-
Don`t worry this twaddle will soon be over and normal service resumed.
-
This seems to have been on the cards for years now, and as you say something of an inevitability. Lets hope the Edinburgh Council do step in and help but probably very unlikely.
-
IMO its either the Lakeside calculator needs batteries, or the BSPA don't know their own rules regarding averages, either way its a mess that makes the sport of speedway look very amateurish.
-
For the reasons giving I get the idea why the P&P needs to be on a week night, I used to like them on a Saturday lunchtime when you would get the Berwick riders and also a few riders from other teams, I`m afraid the last few on Saturday nights and only for Berwick riders are far to stop start for me. Looking at the fixture list it appears we have quite a sparse June and July again which isn't ideal.
-
Fixtures out tomorrow, will Berwick get a genuine tour this season.

Beats me. -
Speaking from experience would you really want to sign Dimitri Berge, apart from him this looks a reasonable team.
-
For the reasons you mention I doubt we will ever see Dyer over here ever again, but for the sheer entertainment I hope one of the clubs who have spaces to fill sign Dyer.
-
Matek Kus`s average tells us that he must be scoring decent points somewhere along the line so if Redcar have the chance to sign him, I`d take it.
-
As many as Peterborough, or any other club for that matter, are willing to hand out, though I`d be surprised if he ended up at Peterborough for 2018.
-
I like the idea of Kevin Doolan riding at No2, as I think as probably the most experienced rider and team captain it is a good idea to have Kevin out in Ht1, to pass on information about track conditions to the rest of the team.
-
Please could you stick to posting your twaddle in the Berwick threads.
-
Berwick for good or bad have gone with most of last years, the difference between then and now is that last season we had an out and out No1 in Nick Morris who was capable of winning the crucial late races in tight meetings. The Berwick promotion must be hoping that some of the riders for the 2018 season can up their averages. One area where Berwick should gain from is always having two strong reserves.
-
Very decent rider with the potential to go far, but needs to lose the attitude IMO if he isn't to become an also ran who will make himself a decent career without realizing its full potential.
-
You may very well be right, my point is it cant be right for the BSPA to all of a sudden change the rules on how teams can be put together. If there were rules governing who can or who cant race in the Championship then those rules should be stuck to.
-
All the promoters left the AGM a few weeks ago with an agreement on the rules for the 2018 season, including team building. They cannot all of a sudden, and half way through team building, change the rules.
-
How can they change the rules now, the season hasn't even started and the great and the good are tinkering already. Anyway there isn't any indication that rules will be changed.
-
For the life of me I cant work out this Mitchel Davey signing, in his racing career over here he has been at best a Championship reserve so taking the jump to the Premiership is a jump to far IMO. In fact I see him only as a short term signing before the axe falls.
-
Bottom half instead of just plain old bottom would be fine by me.
-
It is at least a positive that the club is looking at new riders, and IMO Lindman will be giving the time to get to grips with riding over here, the rest of the team however have been racing here long enough to get things going and in some cases will need to improve their averages if Berwick are to avoid another season of significant under achievement.
-
New asset John Lindman and Danny Gappmaier complete the Berwick team.
-
Show them the Glasgow team, they seem to have the best team so far.
