  1. It appears Matej Kus has been released by Redcar, very attractive signing for someone.
  2. Very comfortable and impressive win for Berwick tonight against a Newcastle team where only Whethers, Covatti and Aarnio gave any real resistance. Summers pass on Aarnio certainly was the highlight of the night and one of the most gutsy passes seen at Berwick for many season, great stuff from both riders. Sometimes you do wonder just who comes up with the rules these days, Ht3 tonight saw Ashley Morris fall while leading, race is stopped as Morris hadn't cleared the track. In the rerun because in the opinion of the referee Morris didn't make a good enough attempt to clear the track Nico Covatti had to go from 15m, now Morris may very well have been guilty of not clearing the track quickly enough but what did Covatti do to be punished, very little IMO. More confusion came in Ht9, this tome Carl Wilkinson failed to make the start and was excluded from the race to be replaced by Wethers, race stopped after a tangle between Wethers and Howe in the first turn, referee decision was all four back. Mathew Wethers after receiving treatment makes his way back to the pits, two minute warning comes on and the riders come back to the tapes, this time with Carl Wilkinson back in the race in place of the replacement Wethers.
  3. Just a guess but I think Redcar will announce a further change very soon as the rumour at Berwick tonight is that Matej Kus has been dropped from the team.
  4. Been warm and dry all day, forecast still saying we are in for showers possibly thundery but so far so good. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/0/2655819
  5. No disrespect to the lad but if your argument that Cook is out of his depth at this level then I take it you think Dan Bewley would do a better job, I think not. Team GB have picked their best three riders.

  7. Berwick 1 Aaron Summers 2 David Howe 3 Kevin Doolan 4 Jye Etheridge 5 NB Jacobsen 6 Danny Gapmaier 7 Theo Pyjper Newcastle 1 Tero Aarnio 2 Ludvig Lindgren 3 R/R 4 Nico Covatti 5 Ashley Morris 6 Carl Wilkinson 7 Mathew Wethers
  8. Looking at this forecast for tomorrow you might get more time for your 6-7 and 9 - whenever activities. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/0/2655819
  9. If this report is reliable then this year could be the last for Prague. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/673555/koniec-z-zuzlowa-grand-prix-czech-burmistrz-nie-chce-dac-kasy
  10. What a mess, though not a surprising one sadly.
  11. For a club so well run as Poole this just seems so wrong, not rained off, not track water logged, but track un-fit.
  12. Good grief, most men have been shaking theirs I`ve been wringing mine out.....now look whats happened.
  13. Redcar have signed Thomas Jorgensen in place of Theo Pyjper.
  14. A few seasons ago he look when he was in the Edinburgh team Clegg looked to be a real prospect, so its quite sad to see him where he is now, in fact IMO he has gone backwards. Obviously he needs a Championship team place and keep hold of his place at Rye House, he could end up with neither.
  15. You could say the same about a number of riders though, have a look at the Rye House No3 for a start.
  16. Unlike Kelvin I think the referee got that one spot on as Anderson fell all on his own.
  17. Very good day for Jye Etheridge riding for his Premiership team Belle Vue where he scored 10+2 from six rides, he now rides in the return fixture later tonight. Meanwhile over on BT Sport Aaron Summers and a fit again NB Jacobsen take part in the meeting between Rye House and Kings Lynn.
  18. Unless things change Saturday was the last Czech SGP, as their contract with SGP is now at an end. Not so sure a move to Pardubice is on the cards, and to be honest there are no noises coming out of Pardibice or BSI indicating that anyway.
  19. Absolutely, Gappmaier going to reserve should be no bad thing for the team and with the form of Lindman in his last match then Berwick should have strength at reserve.
  20. And its the Monarchs who have the honour of taking on the Bandits in the next round, great result. The Glasgow promotion arent exactly known for their patience with under performing riders, maybe just maybe changes are afoot.
  21. I suspect Tai will have noted Lindgren`s move last night and Tai to be equally aggressive the next time they meet.
  22. Aaron Summers 7-04 Kevin Doolan 6-72 NB Jacobsen 6-50 David Howe 6-04 Jye Etheridge 5-75 Danny Gappmaier 5-40 John Lindman 5-20 Averages are effective from June 1st so for the Newcastle fixture the team remains the same, after that Etheridge replaces Gappmaier in the main team.
  23. Prague never misses as a GP venue and this weekend was no difference, and if last nights meeting was the last one the SGP series will be poorer with no Czech SGP. On the meeting, fairly processional early on but with the heat of yesterday, slick conditions that was of no surprise. On the fallen riders, I haven't watched it back from being there yesterday but Pedersen went down on his own, Sayfudinov brought Janowski off and should've been excluded, while the Lindgren move on Woffinden was very hard but just about fair.
  24. I find it strange that any GB authority had any power to stop someone travelling from Poland to Czech Republic, surely Holder would need his passport to get into Poland in the first place.
