You are entitled to your opinion as anyone else on here, you didn't deserve to be verbally abused, something I think you will find is against forum rules. Anyway I normally find when someone turns abusive against you it tends to mean you`ve won the argument. -

Not a very nice comment to someone who obviously has a different opinion to you. Maybe, just maybe, Pogo1 will be proved right, I like the look of the Berwick team, is it a league winning or play off qualifying team, I dont know as all the other teams are not complete yet but on paper at least this is as strong a team as we`ve had at Berwick for some time. -

Nothing in the rules to say you have to go as close as you can to the points limit, anyway speedway meetings aren`t won on a calculator, they are won by signing riders who will either ride to their average or by improving it. -

I think the last two riders will be Garcia and Gappmaier, both club assets so no loan fees, but the promotion have already sprung a couple of surprises with the team so far so there mat be another couple to come. -
After comments from the Edinburgh promotion that Etheridge was the worst reserve in the league, would the rider want to go back. Also, not so sure about uncertainties over Belle Vue, they have giving their intention to run in the Premiership next season, all be it under a new promotion.

As I posted on another thread the other day there`s going to be some fun and games in the Redcar pit if rumours are true, pity their poor manager. -
If Davey does come in on a 2pt average it will make a mockery of the system, up and coming, young British rider he ain`t.
-
Haven`t seen it reported anywhere that Cook has signed on yet in Sweden or Poland, which for his career is disappointing. I guess that means he will only race over here in both leagues, he may very well make a handsome living but long term wont make him the rider he could be.

I`m sure Speedway Star would love to tell all, thing is there may be the chance of legal action either on going or pending, for that reason its probably best to say little or nothing. On a positive note I think we will see Premiership speedway at the NSS next season and hopefully for many seasons to come.

Yes I`d go with that team, but with Gappmaier being an asset I think he will get a team place, you`d still get the rotation at reserve between him and Carr. Jake Allen and Fernando Garcia would also fit, with Garcia starting at reserve. -

With the points Berwick have left I think Gappmaier will get one of the two places remaining, and he is a club asset so why not use him. He was inconsistent at times last year so with an inexperienced reserve partner that cant happen next year as it will leave the team with a long tail, and if there are nights where Carr struggles longer still. -

Hopefully you will be right, probably best to look at it as Carr`s next lesson, certainly proved a useful reserve last season. -

Delighted with the Berge signing, Berwick had the chance to sign him a couple or three seasons ago, but thankfully he is here now. Capable of being a heavy scorer, especially at home, I`ve no idea at this stage who the last two signings will be, unlikely but hopefully they will be two where Berwick can keep Liam Carr at reserve. -

Delighted with the Bridger signing, he is capable of being the out and out No1 some have called for, if he still has the same tie up with JRM then his equipment will be top notch, he is a true professional in his approach to speedway and IMO will be among the top guys in the Championship. Doolan is reliable and will do a job as second or third heat leader though it would be good to see a rider between him and Bridger. Less sure about Carr, had a great season last year and scored good points especially towards the end of the season and if he starts 2017 in the same reserve position then he can be again a big scorer for Berwick , hopefully he will continue his progress next season but if he starts in the main team he may need to drop to reserve to get back to the scores from last season. -

Very impressed to attract a rider like Lewis Bridger, he should be capable of being a decent No1 at this level. -

Not the wisest move IMO opinion to have Bates and Garrity in the same team, agree with you on Gappmaier, on his night he looked a real talent that should be able to hold his average, however on other night he was tailed off at the rear in some races.. -
Don`t think he quite achieved that, though he may well have been on the way.
