  1. We certainly don`t want much more of what we`ve had over the last twenty four hours.
  2. You wonder why all clubs don`t use on-line shopping more, at most tracks you can only buy their merchandise once you have entered the stadium, surely using the internet opens the possibility of buying something to everyone.
  3. King's Lynn Speedway ‏@officialKLstars 1m1 minute ago Keith Chapman angry and frustrated after tonight's meeting cancelled. Says it should have gone ahead. Nonsense, Berwick used ordinary plastic sheeting to cover Shielfield a couple of weeks ago and saved a meeting that otherwise would've been off. https://www.facebook.com/BerwickSpeedway/photos/a.146513605530987.1073741829.145038505678497/532746056907738/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/BerwickSpeedway/photos/a.146513605530987.1073741829.145038505678497/532814840234193/?type=3&theater
  4. Maybe Berwick are just that one step ahead of everyone else.
  5. poole speedway ‏@poolespeedway 1m1 minute ago Start time pushed back to allow time to prepare track after heavy showers
  6. User Actions Follow Gavin Caney‏@GavinCaney "Definitely on so far" says track announcer @DavidHoggart - looks like Lynn v Poole will be on then. No start time yet #speedway
  7. Bit of extra cricket chat will give Buster those extra few minutes to get the track in tip top condition.
  8. As there has been no announcement of a postponement I`m guessing its on.
  9. Looks like track work is being carried out, if it does go ahead expect to hear "its not pretty" from Nigel and Kelvin.
  10. Covering live sport, such as speedway, cricket etc, brings with it a risk of weather so it wouldn't be the first time Sky have been beaten by the elements.
  11. Looking at photos post on Twitter of fans on their way to Kings Lynn it very wet all around, don`t think its got anything to do with peeing off Sky though after seeing the conditions a Polish Extra League match took place in the other day, maybe we shouldn't give up quite yet.
  12. ⭐ Kings Lynn Stars ⭐ ‏@KingsLynnStars 30s30 seconds ago Decision being made at 6.45pm as to whether the meeting will go ahead or not.
  13. Robert Lambert has posted a picture of the track on Twitter, looks a tad wet.
  14. Newcastle fixture change. Taken from Newcastle Speedway Twitter page. Newcastle Speedway ‏@diamondspeedway 11m11 minutes ago PL FIXTURE CHANGE: NEWCASTLE VS SOMERSET: DUE TO TAKE PLACE ON MAY 15th HAS BEEN POSTPONDED, DUE TO RENOVATION WORKS AT NEWCASTLE STADIUM.
  15. Surely even you can see the difference between Norths injured or ill parent and Watts doing the naughty. Not quite the same is it.
  16. Now there`s a can of worms worth opening.
  17. An under performing, low scoring rider is of value to no team, in this case Poole.
  18. For what ever reason Watt was under performing and Ford acted, maybe showing one of the reasons why Poole are winners, other teams seem content to let riders under perform on a weekly bases then act when its to late.
  19. Delighted to see Mr Watt at his whining best, Poole Speedway and Matt Ford have to do whats best for the club, and Watt wasn't scoring so its entirely understandable that Watt has been replaced.
  20. On the evidence of the first few meetings I am delighted to say Berwick seems to be bucking the trend as their crowds look to have held up well, granted they have raced local clubs, in the cases of Glasgow, Newcastle and Edinburgh the crowds have been helped by a decent travelling support, but it looks like the promotion work during pre-season to actually go out and promote has paid off.
  21. Both Robert Lambert and Matej Kus are now confirmed starters for the SGP Qualifier at Kings Lynn.
