  1. Delighted to see the BSPA management committee blocking two GB riders from getting team places, no doubt Peterborough will have to bring back into their team Porsing and MPT, though I am sure this will be in the best interests of PL speedway.

  3. Looks like he is a full time replacement.
  4. Nico Covati has qualified for the SEC Challenge after today's meeting in Austria, sadly Paco Castagna failed to qualify in the same meeting. Thoughts from Chris Louis. http://www.ipswichwitches.co/story/no-more-home-defeats

  6. Switching your tv off and watching the blank screen would've been better than last nights meeting at Lakeside.
  7. Look on the bright side, at least we have addressed the issue of an under performing or injured rider, and if Mellgrens injury was going to keep him out long term we would need to make a change anyway, also we will run with seven riders which must be better than running R/R for the long term, something the club has done in the past. Not quite sure Bager is the answer, though he should be able to do better than Mellgren was doing.
  8. Losing the will to live here, think about moving over to Dover v Forest Green, yes its that bad.
  9. No surprise that Gjedde has tippy toed away from Plymouth, I`m amazed they signed him in the first place. Hopefully for Plymouth they get Newman back into their team asap and an adequate replacement for Gjedde.
  10. Sky must be wondering why they bother with EL speedway.
  11. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819?day=3 Forecast for Saturday, and for the next couple of days looks very decent.
  12. No news on guest or guests for Newcastle as of yet, Berwick are hoping to have Jorgensen back at No1, but Anders Mellgren has been forced out with a knee injury so Berwick will run R/R for him.
  13. http://peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.2783.2 Like this one.
  14. Hardly Newcastle fault either, when the fixtures were drawn up there was no guarantee that Lambert or Kus would be selected for the meeting at Kings Lynn. I am sure with a bit of homework they will be able to cover for their two missing riders.
  15. Don't know about cost or viability, but speedway clubs in this Country don't seem to offer an on line shop. As with most tracks Berwick`s customers looking for merchandise can only do so once they are in the stadium and on a Saturday night, if there was an on line shop it then your customers would be far larger.
  16. I have done the Prague GP for the last couple of years and will be going again this year, lovely city, cheap food and drink and travel, and if your going with Travel plus I am sure you will have a great time.
  17. Craig Cook ‏@CraigCook111 40m40 minutes ago Any PL clubs want to sign me? Craig Cook ‏@CraigCook111 41m41 minutes ago It's may and I've done 5 meetings! What was I thinking dropping out of the PL? Attention Edinburgh attention.
  18. Alternatives to Mellgren aren't exactly throwing themselves at Berwick, but that doesn't mean there`s someone out there who wouldn't be a better option than Mellgren, especially in his current form, injury accepted.
  19. With Wethers scoring so well and able to take seven rides Berwick should be able to cover R/R for Mellgren well enough if he or the club decides to take time out. Looking at the averages, should Mellgren stay in the team, and continue to score as he is then there is every chance Wethers and Mellgren will swap places meaning Berwick would be entitled to cover Mellgren with a guest, should he have to stop racing for a while.
  20. I take it you and the rest of your Panthers hooligans will be there to see Barker gets his deserved reception.
  21. Nice morning, iffy afternoon. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819
