  1. There has been rain over night, maybe it was the tears of the Monarchs, and it remains cloudy. The forecast for later is an improving one. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819
  2. Oh come after many times being on the wrong end of a humping at Armadale surely Berwick can celebrate this one. The best wins are normally the unexpected ones and this is certainly one of those, well done to Berwick.
  3. Official Edinburgh site looks promising. http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/news-centre/article/2016-04-08/looking-good?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
  4. http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/news-centre/article/2016-04-06/league-cup-points-at-stake?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Preview taken from Edinburgh Monarchs Official site.
  5. Pyjper has started the season in great form, and Carr has appeared many times at Armadale both for and against the Monarchs so getting eleven points between the two is entirely possible.
  6. Still could be more than a decent meeting, even without Worrall and Kus, Howarth will do more than a decent job as guest and good as he is the R/R riders should cover for Worrall, add in Lambert and you enough reasons to think that Newcastle will give the home side a few problems.
  7. Unless I have missed it I don`t think we have had the annual preview programme yet.
  8. Even if Berwick Rangers are at home I hope the track could still be covered, as the covers themselves don`t directly affect the football, yes the area around the tunnel would be need to be looked at with the players studs, maybe some kind of carpeting under the sheets could solve that.
  9. Seconded, forty points would be a huge improvements on recent efforts, I don`t think Edinburgh are as good as in recent seasons so we could be going there at just the right time.
  10. I think its fair to say Berwick`s recent record at Edinburgh isn't exactly great, so lets at least hope they can improve on recent scores around Armadale which have been poor.
  11. I am sure the forecast will change between now and Saturday. The covers last Saturday worked very well, in fact we may not have had a meeting without them.
  12. Last night at Kent Liam Carr missed out on a top ten place which would've seen him qualify for the British Under-21 Final. Luck was certainly not on his side as he suffered one exclusion in his first ride and then two retirements on his way to a three point total. Luke Ruddick also took part in the meeting, finishing with four points, he also missed out on a Final place.
  13. So if the meeting was taken place we would've been enjoying the first two or three heats by now, people of Kings Kynn would we have been seeing a meeting tonight giving the weather you have had today.
  14. Irrespective of supplementary rules, IMO the less there is the better, to say you cant solely rely on the rule book probably sums why speedway is in the mess it is. Surely the rule book should be enforced at every meeting at every track in the Country.
  15. Sky have changed venues at much shorter than this in the past, remember this meeting was posted as off on Saturday afternoon leaving ample time for the cameras to get to Monmore, if they wanted to of course.
  16. Must admit I was a tad surprised Alden`s exclusion light didn`t come on but its the refs decision on the night that counts, but the main thing was he got up from what could've been a nasty crash, not only for him but for the other riders in the race who thankfully missed man and machine.
  17. Carr should be well capable of getting a top ten place, but I think it would do Liam`s confidence the World of good if he can get a place on the rostrum.
  18. Good luck to Liam Carr in this meeting, he should be able to secure a top ten place with a bit of luck.
  19. In these early season challenge matches I think some refs are being more lenient regarding the new start procedure, but once the league racing starts riders will be penalised, certainly our own Thomas Jorgensen could do with staying still at the starts.
  20. Have we got any "normal supporters" left.
  21. If we are looking to apportion blame, could I be the first to mention Matt Ford and all at Poole.
