  1. Wonderful news that speedway will continue at Plymouth this season and hopefully for many more seasons to come.
  2. On the one hand I think Tai should be at the British Final, infact IMO he should be racing in our EL, but he isn't. He doesn't base himself here for his racing, doesn't have an EL club, so I can quite understand his decision not to take a place in this years Final.
  3. Or C Someone without regular income is less likely to be a regular attender each Saturday at Shielfield, so the quicker Colin gets a job, and then gets a bit of spare cash the better as it will help the club fanatically. Hope everything works out very soon. Hang on hang on, multiple usernames or people with the use of more than one account on a Berwick thread.......never.
  4. Agree, certainly not the finest post we have seen from Black Angus for the reasons you have high lighted, something I hope they will have reflected on hopefully.
  5. Delighted to see speedway getting onto Radio Newcastle`s Total Sport programme tomorrow night, Berwick`s manager Scott Courtney along with Newcastle`s George English and Ludvig Lindgren will be on around 6-45pm.

  7. Errrrrrm. http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/15298/coventry-eastbourne-nl-28-4pm
  8. Sunday`s meeting will go ahead as planned, the Berwick leg of the Border Trophy has been moved to April 30th.
  9. This meeting has now been rearranged for next Saturday April 2nd at 7pm. The fixture against Workington will be re-arranged for a later date.
  10. Looks like it. Sadly Mason Campton has been with drawn from this meeting with a broken collar bone, hopefully he will be back asap.
  11. Agree with this, young Garcia showed at times last season he had the ability but not the equipment, mounted on better gear he could be a trump card for Glasgow.
  12. IMO Sheffield will be the PL top team this season, so a home defeat to them, I wouldn't be getting carried away with as I think there will be more than Scunthorpe to suffer.
  13. Coventry get the job done.....just. http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/15292/glasgow-coventry-ilc-27-3pm
  14. Berwick`s Theo Pijper comes into the Workington team to replace Claus Vissing who is ill.
  15. Yes they have beaten Sri Lanka to qualify for the semi`s in the T20`s World Cup.
  16. Edinburgh have six days to get their No7 position sorted out, before they face Belle Vue. I`m afraid I don`t have much sympathy for the Monarchs promotion as they`ve had just as much time as everyone else to get their reserve position sorted, they had this idea about signing Mitchel Davey which was only doomed to failure as was pointed out on here.
  17. Been to the football where there was steady drizzle at times through the game, which had turned heavier as I came out. Must say the track looked to be holding up well.
  18. Meeting now off. http://bellevueaces.co/newsitem.aspx?id=1649
  19. Think one or two are getting a tad carried away with last nights events, as I posted the other day there is no need to get carried away either way with the result from last night at Redcar and tomorrow night at Berwick, these are challenge matches and you can bet some riders will be using them to test new kit and set ups out.
  20. A 4pt defeat, without arguably your best rider, isn't such a bad performance especially for the first meeting of the season. Positives for both teams to take into Saturday`s second leg, where hopefully Jorgensen will be back in the Berwick team.
  21. Fully agree, IMO Carr is the stand out scorer for Berwick. I know he has invested in new equipment, and has worked hard on and gained vital sponsorship for this season. Isn't that typical of early season challengers meetings.
