Seeing the Worlds best riders racing in our EL is surely what we all want to see, like it or not Ward is just that, though Sky did over do things a tad last night. -

As has already been mentioned Sky`s next meeting will be Lakeside v Coventry, with cheaper admission through the Lakeside website, they also mentioned they would be showing Wards return to Poole with Swindon. -

At the end of the day Ward will put bums on seats. -
Obviously that is good news for club and rider, our chances of still being in contention for a play off place may well be over by then, so it is to be hoped our KOC run is still going.

That`s possible, then again it could be just plain ignorance.

There was an article in the Speedway Star a few weeks ago that stated that 140+ guests had been used in meeting this year, by now that total will have risen significantly, the mind boggles as to what the figure will be come the end of the season. -
What a fantastic knowledge of speedway we find here.

Aren`t the former co-owners still sponsoring the Scunthorpe team manager.
-
If I had a pint every time Darcy Ward`s name has been mentioned tonight I would be just about be able to keep up with Ward at the bar.

According to the averages issued on the BSPA site Masters is the Edinburgh No1 and Branford the higher averaged reserve. -

And the Monarchs aren't struggling for guests either, for example they could have Rohan Tungate, Richard Lawson etc. -
Dave Peet is a decent manager and an even more decent guy, it wouldn't be the worst thing if Berwick had a full time regular team manager, it would let the promotion, who have been standing in the role free to promote.

Masters will be out for around a month after having surgery on a hand injury today, Branford also out, so our visitors will be looking for a couple of guests. Thankfully Craig Cook who was also in the wars over the weekend should be able to ride. -
Due to the averages Doolan found himself in the No1 race jacket at the start of last season, no disrespect to Kevin but a PL No1 he isn't, once he found his rightful position in the team his scores improved. Now mounted on better equipment he is proving to be an excellent second or third heat leader and his scores have been not only good but consistently good this seaason, and surely even the vocal minority, or the silent majority can agree with that. Hang on, looks like this silent majority tag is something another poster used the other day, cant be the same person. Maybe we are part of the key board wielding critics, sarcastic know it alls, jealous rivals, suspicious husbands group.

Seems Edinburgh have hit one or two injury problems, already without Robert Branford, they now have had Craig Cook and Sam Masters taking heavy falls. Thankfully Cook has had a hospital check up, after taking a bang to his head, and been giving the all clear. Masters went to hospital but left before being seen, he will be checked over by a local hospital for thumb or hand injuries, whether he makes Berwick remains to be seen.

There will be plenty of takers, who ever who holds his contract.

Jorgensen certainly has been Berwick`s top man this season, should Berwick still be a PL team next season he must be in line for a second year with Berwick.
-
Haven't been down for a couple of years so everything must've been tidied up during that time.
